The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I love the large Lola, but she just wasn’t the bag for me. I got Dakota. The bag felt heavy to me to wear it as a crossbody style. The Dakota leather marked up easily as well. She is a beautiful bag and I wanted to love her, but ultimately it just wasn’t the style for me. Great quality though!
The leather used to make this bag is the perfect blend of soft yet thick and strong. I can tell that this is going to last me years and years. I use it for work and it fits my laptop (vertically) and notepads easily. My only small complaint is that this bag is top heavy so it tips over if not leaning just so against something. So I’ll adjust where and how I set it down and continue using it because it’s beautiful and worth changing my habits for!
I took my new large zip Lola out for the first time today and she is a stunner! She holds quite a bit and has both an inside and outside pocket. The styling of this bag is very classy!
A lot of times when spending this kind of money on a "purse," one may have buyer's remorse. I can honestly say that buyer's remorse is NOT a thing when purchasing a PLG item! Every item, whether an AP item or not, is beautiful. The leather smell is beyond imaginable, and the quality is superb.
I'm using my large, zippered Lola crossbody tote on a European trip soon and can't wait to see how she does!! 🖤
I just turned 40 this year and I’ve been wanting a leather bag for several years now. I wish I would have gotten it sooner now! I love the smell. I love the color. I love the feel of the leather. It is beautiful and I’m using it for my daily use bag. I did a lot of shopping around and this is by far the best deal I could find. I bought the Almost Perfect version and the tiny flaws I found only add to the character.
I love the structure and look of the large Lola. Professional, sophisticated, and it holds all of my work items. The Dakota color is amazing in this bag.
