It’s the lowest price on all of our best selling leather goods! Our artisans have very high standards. Sometimes we come across hides with more natural character marks. Other times we notice a small imperfection on a finished product such as a slight color variation or a messy stitch or two.

The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

There are a lot of leather laptop sleeves out there on the internet and choosing one sight unseen can be tricky. I wanted good quality and a proper fit because I hate online returns! If you like the style of the 'Almost Perfect' Leather Laptop Sleeve you will be thrilled with the leather quality and construction! In fact, I'm not sure what's not perfect about it. Stitching is great and $54 plus a few bucks for tax and ship seems like a good deal to me. If you want a really nice sleeve for your MacBook Air (can't comment on other laptop sizing), get one! Portland Leather sent clear emails and tracking info and I got it fast!
It is super cushiony and bery protective. Love the color plum!
I bought the AP Laptop Sleeve for my 12.9” iPad Pro. It fits like a glove and I would absolutely recommend it for this size iPad. The inside is so incredibly squishy soft. I wasn’t expecting that so it was a nice surprise.
I bought an AP laptop sleeve in Eucalyptus and I absolutely love it! It fits my HP ProBook G8 perfectly and I carry it in my large zip tote to work everyday. I had bought the tote on black Friday and thought about purchasing a laptop sleeve from Amazon because I wasn't certain my work laptop would fit. Once I actually got around to measuring the laptop, I decided to splurge on a sleeve from PLG. I have no regrets! It was a snug fit at first but has loosened up with wear. The sleeve has padding inside and then the thick leather cover provides plenty of protection. I highly recommend the laptop sleeve and may purchase additional colors myself.
I've been looking for a sleeve for my 13" MacBook for ages, and this is it! I got the AP in Canyon, and it did arrive with some visible marks and scratches, but for the price I'm not mad about it -- especially knowing how hard I am on my bags and leather goods! This sleeve is super roomy, and more cushioned than I expected. Finally, I can travel with my laptop without worry!
Canyon is gorgeous! I like the character & actually rolled it around a bit to add more. It fits my Dell latitude.. Snug.. but still buttons & feels protected. The padding is perfect.
