The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

We have re-engineered our best-selling, Medium Classic Tote into the perfect backpack! The Tote Backpack is an excellent hands-free carryall for any outing. Includes a large front zipper pocket, small interior pocket and buckle strap-adjustment system.
No two PLG bags are alike! Please note: it is normal for all of our products, including Premium items, to have unique variations and character markings that are inherent to natural full-grain leather. Pebbled leathers are achieved naturally and not artificially pressed. Due to leather thickness, measurements may vary slightly. Color may also have subtle variations from batch-to-batch.

Bought this for my daughter as her school backpack and she is in love with it! I got almost perfect but it is perfect can’t find anything wrong with it at all. It is able to fit folders (I was worried about this size wise) and much more than you would think! She’s the happiest and I love to see that. It is also so dang cute and will last forever.

Practical and luxurious. Simple and beautiful. I love the size (not too big) and the price was excellent . There's nothing to improve upon, imo.
I used to carry a small canvas backpack as my every day carry...and then I got my coldbrew tote backpack. I use this every single day, unless I am going somewhere that requires a smaller bag, which is rare. The coldbrew is perfectly pebbly and smooshy and fits everything I could need. Would LOVE to see this in more colors!
