The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

This has quickly turned into my favorite bag style that PLG has in their current lineup. I believe a few more colors are being released and I will be waiting to order them. Can't wait! It holds quite a bit and since I don't carry that much in general, I end up having lots of room to spare for all kinds of extra goodies... just incase. Eventually I'd like to get one in every color :)
It took me sometime to get around to finally ordering one of these amazing backpacks since I wasn't too sure if it would be too big for me. I was wrong, it is not and I find it to be perfect for my size. I am 5"3 and 111 lbs and it sits nicely on my back and is not too heavy. I love this backpack so much that in less than 1 month, I have ordered 4 = Mulberry, Dream, Lagoon and Cognac. I would love one in black and I heard that Plum was going to be a new color so I will be definitely ordering both of those in the near future. The only ask I would have for this bag is to make a Small version of it that would be similar in size to the Small Bucket Bag. That would be sweeeeeeeeeetttt. I'd take one in every color :)
I have been using this backpack nonstop since I received it, it fits more than I expected and receive compliments on this backpack , love how wide it opens makes finding everything I need easier
I love this bag so much! This is my 3rd almost perfect product and I am a customer for life, such great quality! I will say the only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the drawstring holes not being like lined or stitched for reinforcement but overall still in love.
I'm a backpack girl and love backpack purses - I've owned my share of them. PLG definitely knows the secret to a perfect backpack purse size! I own many Tote Backpacks and now own a Bucket Backpack in Mulberry! The color is gorgeous 😍 and the design is stylish. It's smaller than the Tote Backpack but it never hurts to reduce the amount of stuff you carry! I'm very pleased with my new Bucket Backpack but do have a suggestion for a 2.0 version - please add an outer back slip pocket for a phone... that addition would make this style perfect 🥰 Thank you PLG!
