The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Relatively new to PLG and this is only my second purchase. I love the lava color and the size of the toaster bag is ideal for me as I’m only 5‘2“ and wanted something smaller. I absolutely love the color and enjoyed smashing it, and folding it to create the swirls!
This is my first Toaster. I can't tell that I ordered "Almost perfect", I can't find any flaws! It holds all my essentials comfortably. A amall zip wallet, mini daisy wallet, taco tassel pouch, mini dopp keychain etc. No issues with the bag flipping. The interior and exterior pockets are perfect for holding feminine product, pens, notepads, or my phone. I'm 5'1" and I was worried that this bag would hang too low on me but it's perfect! I love how it hugs my hip when I'm walking briskly. Man, the Dakota color is breathtaking! I can't stop raving about it! I hope to get more toasters.
I got mine in the honey color. I waffled between honey and nutmeg but I'm glad I chose honey. It's slightly darker in person which I love and after traveling with it for a week I can tell it will eventually patina beautifully. It fits the women's bifold wallet with room for a phone, hard glasses case, keys, and a mini water bottle, and other tiny items. It's perfection.
My honey toaster is beautiful and the leather is great quality! There is a noticeable crease on the front which is a bit unfortunate but a risk of ordering AP. The toaster fits a lot, including my mirrorless camera, phone, wallet, and kindle. I would love it if they made them with removable straps.
This was my first Toaster Bag and after seeing it in person, I want more :)

I picked up a mini CB 3x + 8x little MB the other month and one of the littles was a Plum Ballpark Pouch and I fell in love with that leather.
So naturally I wanted an awesome purse to match so I picked up the Toaster first.
After it arrived, I realized how much I loved it and immediately ordered the Mini Metro in Plum too!

I was looking for an everyday black purse to replace my old one I got from Amazon (that I've used for over 5 years now) & it took me 2 returns to PLG but I finally found the right one for me! I was so fortunate to have a friend who knew how to switch out the straps bc it was extremely long on me & after I replaced it.. I fell in love! It fits my small card wallet, Kobo Clara 2e, iphone 11 , another small purse full of tiny knickknacks), & car keys! The pebbled black version keeps it's form and bag doesn't tip over at all.
