Our U.S. sourced leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Our full-grain and gently brushed leathers are among the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been removed. These marks are proof that the leather will become more beautiful with age.
Pebbled: Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I love these small bags. They are perfect for my upcoming trip. Small but with enough space for essentials when you are out & about. The y are handcrafted with excellent materials. Absolutely beautiful. I will highly recommend!
My son is turning 18 next month and I spent time with him looking at the website and he picked the Basic Belt bag in smooth black along with a matching bifold wallet. Lovely simple belt bag - he can use the belt that came with it or his own. We love PLG!

Great adjustable strap and size for a normal wallet+ phone.
First, I loved the bag and wish it would have worked! I often wear belt bags crossbody when shopping so it’s COMPLETELY out of the way and easy getting in/out of the car and putting on a seat belt. I ordered this one after measuring the strap on my other (non Portland) one but made a mistake - the strap length listed is for the full strap which is a narrow belt, so the width of the bag (9” I think?) ‘takes up’ that amount of belt… when I measured to compare I measured from one edge of my existing belt bag ALL THE WAY AROUND to the other edge, but didn’t include the back of the bag. For reference I am 5’10” and 49/41/54. I took pics wearing crossbody and around my waist — I know how nice it is to have comparison pics. If you are around my size, check out the envelope bag or the circle bag for longer strap options! I’m sure there’s more too :-)
