This is a great piece for going from winter into spring! I am definitely going to be wearing this as a jacket, rather than an overshirt. But isn't a jacket something you wear over a shirt? I don't know.

It's such a gorgeous color! My husband got it for me for Christmas, and the size was a little off. I guess my shoulders are broader than both of us thought. I could have worn the large, but returned it and bought the extra large. It gives me more room in the shoulders and adds the ability to wear a heavier shirt or sweater underneath. If I were to plan to only wear a t-shirt underneath, I'm sure I would have been fine with the large.

I went back and forth on which color and then recently had “my colors accessedl and found out I’m a “warm autumn” - so I took a leap and ordered the one that almost matches my hair… and I love it! It’s fully lined - so more of a shacket than a shirt, but it’s beautiful. I’m usually a small in most tops but I went with the medium to give me a bit more room across the back and it was the right choice. If you’re on the fence, just do it!

The color is beautiful and the suede is soft rather than coarse. I was unsure of what size to order. I wanted the jacket to fit a bit oversized with room to layer, but I didn’t want to feel swallowed. I’m 5’6”, btwn 135-140lbs, average/athletic build, short torso, & 15” shoulder width. I don’t like when my shoulders feel tight in a jacket. I think the small size would have fit and felt more tailored to me, but I ultimately ordered the medium because I wanted room in my shoulders. (My test for whether I think a jacket is too tight in the shoulders: I put it on and try to put my hair in a ponytail. If I can do so comfortably, the shoulder width works. It’s perfect in the medium.)

It looks wonderful on. I tried it on here while wearing my workout clothes, and I threw on old leather boots. The medium is also big enough on me I can layer a zip-hoodie underneath (2nd photo).

And it looks great with both my Dakota tote and my Shadow Black tote. Good contrast between the colors. My Honey and Nutmeg bags clash a bit and are too close in color to umber.

I love PLG and have several bags. I also purchase bags and accessories for gifts. I’m rarely disappointed.

This over shirt looks so pretty online. I live in the Bay Area around San Francisco, so the weather changes every few minutes, making layers both awesome and necessary. I thought this would be a great addition to my closet.

Sadly, I just didn’t love it. Mine arrived rumply. I couldn’t get it to lay flat. It looked like I slept in it. I’m not sure if that would have changed had I worn it around for awhile though. I didn’t want to risk it so I returned it.

I still think about it though 💗

Fits like it was custom-made for me. I’m expecting to enjoy this jacket for many years!
