Handcrafted from Vegetable Tanned Leather, which is known for its lasting durability and amazing patina allowing your new bag to become more and more beautiful the more you use it. The adjustable crossbody strap allows for a perfectly comfortable fit.

We use the best Full Grain, Vegetable Tanned Leather. A traditional method of leather tanning that has been used for centuries to preserve animal hides using tannins from wood and bark. The hallmark characteristic of Natural Vegetable Leather is the patina - the process of aging that gives your leather a rich glowing color and a striking sheen.

I was excited because I never owned a veg tanned leather bag & was excited PLG were coming out with some. I decided on Hawthorne. It was the perfect size just for my essentials for a day out when I don’t carry much. I would definitely carry this bag on my days off rather for work. I could fit my card case, my keys, my earphones, a small skinny perfume bottle, a hand sanitizer & my mini Lysol spray bottle. It’s a very decent size. I accidentally got it wet and got scared cuz I watched videos on veg tanned leather & got worried about water stains. Yet no water stains. I LOVE IT!!! The strap is very long too.
