Traditional Sizing

Would you prefer to wear your hat evenly across your head like a talented quartet member? If so, a Traditional measurement will probably suit you best.

Place your measuring tape around your head over your occipital bone (located on back of head).
Bring the tape around to the front of your head until the ends of your tape overlap; position the tape mid-forehead just above the ears. Make sure the tape sits comfortably, as this is where your hat will sit.
Check your measuring tape and find the corresponding size on our Size Chart. If you’re using string to measure your head, use a ruler to record its length.

Halo Sizing

Want to wear it tilted toward the heavens not unlike an angel with a wool halo? Then a Halo measurement will work wonders for you!

Place your measuring tape around your head over your occipital bone (locaed on back of head).
Bring the tape around to the front of your head until the ends of your tape overlap; position the tape at the top of your forehead near your hairline. Make sure the tape sits comfortably, as this is where your hat will sit.
Check your measuring tape and find the corresponding size on our Hat Size Chart. If you’re using string to measure your head, use a ruler to record its length.

Lark!!’n

I bought the Lark hat & absolutely love it. I got the cream one. It was a big decision between cream & black but decided on the cream and I’m glad I did. I got a black hat band to go on it. Went to the pumpkin patch. That’s me with my granddaughter.

I got a modern band in Dakota and a cord band in black to go on a vintage black hat I found at an antique store. Really love the contrasting look of the Dakota and it's so soft. Since it's not a PKG hat, I did my best to measure, and it's a little short, so I'm going to try and punch another hole in it to make it work. If it doesn't, I'll probably try buying the medium length, because I love the way it looks. The cord band is ok, it's a little fiddly to get it knotted and look good. But love the modern one!

Head Attire

Recently ordered and received the light-colored Lark hat in size small. It's just stunning in quality and style. I love it!

I ordered the Aria hat in black and added this leather band in Dakota. It’s stunning! If you get a PLG hat, which I highly recommend, then add one of these leather bands to give it that pop.

Gave it a try…

I really wanted to love the Aria but the small was too snug and the medium was too big. I bought this to switch out the band but didn’t get to use it because I sent the hat back- it does seem like it’s good quality and had I kept the hat, it would have been great!
