Some googling proved to me that Honey was a winner for developing a lovely patina. I am highly selective with my bags. The simplicity, the amount of space, and the ability to convert from handbag to crossbody makes this a great choice. Zippers lay flat which is nice. With a toddler, I can toss in a full pack of wipes and a few diapers along with my belongings (plus more.) I appreciate all kinds of bags. The next one I want is a Medium or Large Classic Full Crossbody. If only they came in more colors. FYI this medium XB fits nicely in my OS Tote. She holds her structure, without being stuffed. The leather is thick - it does scratch easily but can mostly be rubbed away. I love her!

Yummy Nutmeg!

This is my second medium crossbody tote, the other being in the smooth honey leather. The medium crossbody tote is pretty much my ideal handbag- big enough to carry everything I need without being too heavy. I wanted to try a pebbled leather and after looking at lots of photos and unboxing videos, settled on nutmeg. The nutmeg leather of my bag is a warm, rich brown, with subtle red and rust undertones. The pebbled leather is softer than the smooth, but still retains some structure and isn't overly slouchy. I got the zippered version which I prefer for security, and the zipper moves easily. I also got a classic leather tassel in nutmeg and its the perfect size for the medium crossbody tote. I cannot recommend this bag more highly. I am sure it won't be my last. I have three pictures of it in different light for color reference.

It wasn't love at first sight because this bag is bigger than I want for a weekend bag, but it's perfect for traveling. I can easily fit medical equipment, my wallet, phones and few other things in this purse. I can even zip it up. No matter what, Grizzly is a beautiful color.

The Meadow medium crossbody is just right for travel. Sturdy leather that does not mark easily, in a size that holds the extras I need—my plus sized phone tucks neatly in the front exterior pocket. My glucose meter and test kit fits in one little, my insulin in another, and the sometimes necessary snack into the interior pocket. Plus room for wallet, keys, and a small knitting project.
I honestly couldn't find anything major wrong with my "almost perfect" bag. There was a small scratch on the purse, however, I'm sure it won't be the only one if I use it as much as I plan on using it.
I wanted a leather bag plain but spoke of quality. Simple leather. Not sealed edges that make you wonder if is actually leather. THIS is leather!! Study but gives. Might be easy to scratch but that is what is unique about leather. I could not be happier!!! Mine is a medium crossbody in cold brew. Roomy enough for me to carry my knitting!!
I love my new crossbody tote, it is PERFECT, even though technically it is "Almost Perfect". It is the perfect size, and even though I am partial to zippered purses, I found the Canvas inset was a perfect addtion and I haven't had anything fall out.
I'm literally mesmerized by this deep wine color and can't stop touching the oily, buttery, and smooth brushed leather on this specific lovely color...MERLOT!
The overall size of this Medium Crossbody Tote is perfection! My only wish would be for an additional inch or two on the smaller handle drop. However, the crossbody strap is definitely adequate!
