Our U.S. sourced leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Our full-grain and gently brushed leathers are among the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been removed. These marks are proof that the leather will become more beautiful with age.
Pebbled: Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I understand that this item is marketed as a “sketchers pencil holder “ however, I found a new utility for this. Welcome the new soft case cigar holder. Perfect to wrap up your favorite “sticks” when you’re on the go! Fits perfectly in your jacket pocket. Be the envy of your cigar club with this soft, supple leather case.
While my daughter and I were in Portland over the summer, we visited the PLG store and I surprised her by buying for her the Bucket Backpack she adored. She also spotted this Artist Pencil Case, but they didn't have it in Canyon, the color she loved. So when I ordered for myself the beautiful small Tote in the photo, I added on the Pencil Case for her. A very functional little case with a fun design, and really lovely in Canyon!
i feel very fancy every time i unloop the tie to grab a pen out of my artiste leather case. The canyon is a gorgeous hue that when creased, would produce a light-color at the crease. It is as if the leather is constantly morphing as it is used.
To tell the truth I bought this as I just love the look, especially in the Canyon color. I am not quite sure what I will end up using for but I love the shape and the sturdy strap that wraps around. As is the case of all the products I have purchased from Portland Leather it has the best quality ever! Just so happy I did purchase it!
I really, really wanted one the very first time I laid eyes on the Artists' wrap (pencil case)! But then I got distracted with totes and bucket bags and more totes and then I thought others might need them or a gorgeous backpack. Then "The Sale" happened and I am now deciding which glasses, or cords, or travel brushes, or fountain pens, or-you get the idea- gets to ride in my Artists' wrap today! Oh and it fits in all my bags! Thank you, it is yummy in the hand!🤗
