Our U.S. sourced leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Our full-grain and gently brushed leathers are among the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been removed. These marks are proof that the leather will become more beautiful with age.
Pebbled: Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I love this purse! The quality is amazing and it’s the perfect size for all of my essentials.
I’ve been trying to downsize my everyday purse and decided to go with The Toaster. I love how long the strap is. I’m plus sized and lots of time crossbody bag straps are just not long enough. I love the size. It really helped me pair down my “essentials.” And it’s an absolutely gorgeous bag. I love the meadow print/color so much that I am tempted to buy more bags with it, even though I’m not generally one to use more than one purse at a time.
Out and about in Morocco on a six week vacay….my blue Toaster Bag is the PERFECT bag for every day use. I can fit my iPhone, purse, hand sanitizer, reading AND sunglasses, a small notebook, mask, tissues, lipstick and a few other odds and ends. Wow! It carries so much in such a compact way and the look is gorgeous. Can’t wait to get home and order in another color (perhaps mustard this time?). Thank you Portland Leather!!!
