We have re-engineered our best-selling, Medium Classic Tote into the perfect backpack! The Tote Backpack is an excellent hands-free carryall for any outing. Includes a large front zipper pocket, small interior pocket and buckle strap-adjustment system.

No two PLG bags are alike! Please note: it is normal for all of our products, including Premium items, to have unique variations and character markings that are inherent to natural full-grain leather. Pebbled leathers are achieved naturally and not artificially pressed. Color may also vary slightly from batch-to-batch.

Our U.S. sourced leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.

Full Grain: Our full-grain and gently brushed leathers are among the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been removed. These marks are proof that the leather will become more beautiful with age.

Pebbled: Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather, but the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

More Beautiful Than I’d Imagined

I bought this as a very special retirement gift for a dear friend. It was my first purchase. I had to quickly wrap it as I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to part with it!

PLG’s Strap Design is Heavenly!

I earmarked today as all things automobile, and as such, I called into service my new Sedona Tote Backpack. Assuming I would be spending time at the tire store, I packed my usual Petite Luna suspects, my iPad mini in a case, a 12 oz. Hydroflask with water, and a couple of other items on my list to deal with. All fit with plenty of room to spare. The backpack is a balanced carry, even for us short gals. As someone with narrow shoulders, PLG’s strap design is heavenly even while carrying it slung over just one shoulder. After 5 minutes of carry, she felt like I’d had her all my life!

Love love love it!!!!! I took a gamble because I don't usually go for backpack purses but I am SO glad I chose this as my first! It is the perfect size and great because I am constantly on the go (work, school, kids, etc.) I love the color and got the wallet to match! Always getting compliments! I'll never get purses from anywhere else ever!

Oh, Honey!

In LOVE with this backpack tote in the color honey. The leather is stiff enough for the bag to stand up on its own.. while the straps aren’t TOO stiff and have enough give to be comfortable.
