I hesitated on the first round of the plum backpacks but jumped on it the second time. The backpack tote is the perfect size for an everyday bag. I’m not able to carry anything on one shoulder anymore without great pain so the tote backpack is perfect. The leather is amazingly soft and very durable. You can’t go wrong with this bag no matter the color you choose.
It's exactly what I wanted. It should hold almost everything I need for day trips or when I travel and plan on walking a lot. I don't mind the dings and evidence of usage but I think the pebbled leather will hide a lot. It's beautiful and smells oh so yummy!
The tote backpack was my very first PLG purchase and I could not love her more! I needed something for travels with work, and this little beauty worked great on the plane... even fit my 13" macbook air in there (it was tight, but it worked). I carry this bag when I want to be hands-free and casual. She works for conferences, tourist days out like sightseeing. The straps have tons of holes, so there's a wide range of comfortable positions to be configured. Pictured in Satsuma, I have since gone back for the larger size in cranberry (laptop backpack, fits my 13" macbook air better), and they are both so beautiful and functional. The plum backpack tote is stunning! The color is absolutely gorgeous and the backpack is the perfect size. The bag is not overly big and bulky making it great for an everyday carry bag. I’m not usually a backpack person but this bag was just too pretty to pass up.
