The moment I saw these I knew I needed them. I’ve ordered a few plg shoes so I am familiar with them needing to stretch a bit. I ordered my normal athletic shoe size, 7.5.
When they arrived it took some work getting them on but to my surprise while they were tight, they were also very cushioned. I walked around my kitchen for about an hour and they had already begun to relax. I have bunions on both feet so the break in period can often be pretty painful, luckily I didn’t run into that here! Comfy from the get go.
One thing to note, I don’t plan on wearing these with socks. If I did I would size up a half size. If I did go to and 8 without socks they would absolutely slip off my heel. But in my tts they do not slip with no socks :)
Cute but we’re too big. I’m usually a 7.5 or sometimes 8 depending on shoe..I got an 8 and my feet were coming out the back each step. I might buy a smaller size..my husband didn’t like them.
I always read reviews before purchasing an item and I am skeptical of those shoe reviews that say they were comfortable right out of the box. Now I am saying it: the Chunky Loafers were so comfortable right out of the box! Gorgeous soft leather and no break in needed. There is a bit of off gassing from the rubber sole but it is going away. I went up 1/2 a size.
At first, I wasn't sure what I thought about these chunky loafers. I went with black because I knew it would be a good neutral to try with this style. I wore them a few times and it was not love. They set in my closet for a bit until it got colder and I finally got them out and started wearing them. Love!! They were a snug fit to start with but with a little wear they now fit my feet perfectly. I am thinking about grabbing in a different color now! I wear 9.5 and they appear to be true to size.
Purchased black, size 8.
Perfect, comfortable loafers right out of the box. The lug sole is great for winter.
