Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I’m absolutely obsessed with this gorgeous bag!! I got the large in black and thought it might be too large, but once it’s on, the way it slouches makes it look very nice. You can fit so much inside! This will be great for winters here in northern Illinois when I need to carry a hat, gloves, and a scarf with me! But I’ve also been loving styling it this summer too :) Definitely my new favorite bag!

It is the perfect size to hold all the things yet tucks comfortably under my arm and doesn’t slide off the shoulder. My favorite feature is that it sits up nicely, even when overloaded and doesn’t tip over, which drives me nuts. I ordered Chili Red for my winter everyday carry. I was tempted by the new Sienna color to try this new bag style and I have to say I do love this bag!! I’m normally a tote backpack girl, but was intrigued by this new style and color and happy I tried it! It’s a keeper and at this price point it is a bargain!! I did have to use a PLG organizer due to no pockets, but it worked like a charm. Great bag!!

This was my FIRST purchase and I was so torn on which bag to get. After much deliberation, I stepped out of my comfort zone and opted for a shoulder bag, the AP large Aspen in Coldbrew. I could not be happier with my purchase! The smell, the perfect slouch, and the color just blew me away. I have purse peace after only one bag!(though that won't stop me from buying more lol)

The Aspen is such a great bag. I have purchased both sizes, medium and large. I use my small PLG purse organizer. The only thing I wish it had a key holder but I still love it without it!!

OS Aspen in sienna is a great soft bag. That is ginormous and I intended to use as an overnight bag. It fits slightly more than the OS totes I generally for overnights. Great bag.
I wanted a bag with room to hold my EDC (which isn’t much) plus a book, tablet, water bottle, sweater, etc. But I didn’t want a tote. It came down to the Large Aspen and a OS Naomi. I went with the Large Aspen as it’s bigger than the OS Naomi, plus it’s less slouchy which makes it easier to pack/unpack. I’m really happy with my choice. I have my EDC in a small organizer, which leaves room around it for everything else. A 24oz Owala bottle tucks nicely into one of the tall ends and the bag still zips. A 30oz Sway will fit too, and the zipper fully close, it you orient the lid just right. I also appreciate how the shoulder strap is adjustable. Very happy with my choice.
