Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Since fabric-lined bags inevitably discolor and tear with use, we chose to showcase the soft sueded underside of our hides, ensuring that your bag lasts a lifetime.

Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade—making each piece uniquely yours.

Our oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina & smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.

Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow's life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Almost Perfect items can feature more prominent character marks than our Premium line, and/or small stitching variations, showcasing the aesthetic variety of our natural hides and handmade designs.

Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?

We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.

What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?

Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I absolutely LOVE this purse! I got the Almost Perfect Large (zipper option) Raindrop Crossbody Bag in Sunflower, and could not be happier with everything about it. I did order the extended strap, and I'm glad I did. I'm picky about where I want my purses to hit my side when I'm wearing it as a crossbody, and the extender strap did the trick - it's perfect! I tried some of the other purses similar to this, but I love that this one had a pocket inside, and that the handles are rolled and stitched. It's makes a huge difference in comfort when you're carrying it as a tote. The inside is spacious, but not so big that all my things jumble together - everything fits perfectly for me. You can see a slight mark in the leather (hence the "almost perfect" label), but it only shows in certain light, and does not take away from the purse at all.

Gorgeous Ruby Raindrop

I’m usually a brown leather girl, but this ruby color completely won me over. It’s such a beautiful shade and makes the perfect little statement piece. The size is great too — it fits all my essentials (phone, wallet, keys) without feeling bulky. The handles are super comfortable, and I love that it can also be worn crossbody for hands-free days. Now I’m officially tempted to add a Large Raindrop to my collection as well!

The best purse ever

I don’t like carrying a purse, I really have nothing to put in one. With that being said I love this purse it is the perfect size.

Love at first sight … my new favorite bag,

I like it open top that you can carry by the handles, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It holds my full size wallet, eye glass case, my smallish planner, plus some little miscellaneous things. Having first bought a different color but I exchanged it for this beautiful, pebble leather version in orchid. Even though this bag is small, she is mighty, lol. The pebbled leather will stay beautiful for years. I also bought the canvas organizer pouch to go inside, and that’s a good pairing for this bag as well. Probably my current favorite bag!
