Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I didn’t think I would like the Sloan bag, but I ended up loving them. I ordered a large Black, and 3 smalls: Aruba, Bone, Cobalt. The small is my favorite, as it looks great as a crossbody. I don’t carry much, and it surprisingly fits a lot.

I found this Unicorn Hair on Hide Sloan and instantly fell in love!
I’ve been back and forth on if the OS Sloan was for me. Then I finally made the move and got an AP OS Coldbrew. The leather wasn’t good when I opened the box and I was very disappointed by the bag. Finally the OS Nutmeg came in stock and Nutmeg has yet to disappoint! The leather is soft and feels good. It hold everything I want to carry without compromise. I haven’t been able to move out of the bag since I got it. I’m IN love! ♥️
I felt lucky to get a Sepia Sloan on the PLG app. The leather is so soft and gorgeous! This is my first Sloan and I can tell it won’t be my last!
