The wax found in our canvas items inherently keeps the material more resistant to scratches and dirt as well as acts as a repelling agent to moisture. While our canvas is tough and ready to be your go-to item right out of the box, we are happy to share a few care tips to keep your new canvas looking fine and feeling great.
- In the event you notice some debris, spot clean your canvas with a lightly damp microfiber towel.
- If a stain is a bit more stubborn, add a mild soap, but be sure to remove all soap residue with a cool towel and allow the item to air dry after. We ask you to avoid all detergents, bleach, and no need to machine wash your canvas either!
- Out in the elements like us in the Pacific Northwest? You can add an additional wax layer for more water resistance. Keep in mind this may darken the overall look of your canvas item.

When the navy big bag showed up on the site I had to have it. Especially since it’s paired with their coldbrew leather which is my favorite of the browns PLG offers. It’s so luscious. This bag is awesome. So much better in person than I expected it to be. It’s definitely a big big bag. Comparable width to the large totes while being the height of the oversized totes. The strap length is a bit shorter than the regular totes too which I was a bit concerned about as a plus sized person, but it’s surprisingly easy to wear. I think because it’s canvas on top it’s easier to sling it over the shoulder because it’s more flexible than leather. The whole bag is beautifully designed and crafted. I love the leather bottom and the leather straps are so squishy soft like the full size crossbody straps are since they’re the same leather as the bags instead of the bridle straps on the regular totes. This bag is also super lightweight so it feels like a reusable market bag while still being stylish enough to be a purse. I love it so much. Oh and there’s an inner clip and pocket. I like this clip so much better than the key loop in the totes. It’s a really nice detail. Highly recommend this bag!
I took this bag to work the day after I received it and I loaded it up with projects, including a 12 x 12 canvas! The waxed canvas feels really durable and the Coldbrew leather is beautiful. I’ve carried it every day loaded with different things and it stays lightweight.

Good for traveling
Purchased in brown, especially for the items that I wouldn't want to put in my "dressier" totes and it has performed marvelously. Maiden trip was to farmer's market where it housed the fresh veggies I purchased. Next was to a home and garden show where it held the flyers, catalogs, and small items I purchased from various vendors. I love the usefulness of this tote and it now resides in my car so I have it whenever I need or want to use it. I love the fact that it is a sturdy canvas with the perfect sturdy leather bottom and very comfortable straps.
