Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I’m absolutely obsessed with this gorgeous bag!! I got the large in black and thought it might be too large, but once it’s on, the way it slouches makes it look very nice. You can fit so much inside! This will be great for winters here in northern Illinois when I need to carry a hat, gloves, and a scarf with me! I normally stick to neutrals, but bought this bag in plum. I love it! Debated between the regular and large and personally, could have went with the regular as it is wide toward the bottom. It doesn’t feel bulky on shoulder. Added the canvas insert which fits perfectly and keeps all items organized.

I am a huge fan of oversized bags and I am absolutely in love with the OS Aspen! Purchased in Asheville which is a beautiful neutral color that goes with just about anything. I tend to carry a lot and this bag fits it all with no issue. I did add an organizer to the inside as it doesn't have any internal pockets. For reference, I am 5'10, size 3X, so this bag fits me well. May look too large on a smaller frame.

This is my first Aspen and it is
perfect. I normally carry smaller bags but this is just right and is a great shoulder carry. Got it in Cobalt, which is a beautiful pebbled leather.
This is the perfect size for a shoulder bag.
Right now I have a utility bag for medications and ink pens, a tri-fold wallet, a double zip coin pouch and there is still all kinds of room. This is my favorite newer color Sienna, and the pebbles are forgiving for scratches.
