It’s the lowest price on all of our best selling leather goods! Our artisans have very high standards. Sometimes we come across hides with more natural character marks. Other times we notice a small imperfection on a finished product such as a slight color variation or a messy stitch or two.

The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I was initially confused when I got these because they came with different branding. I had to get everything out and see that they re indeed the boots I ordered. I'm sure since I went with the discounted imperfect ones that they sell them to a third party and this is what they are, it just would've been nice to have a heads up or some clarification that I am not getting Portland Boots--even though I guess I am???
All that aside, the boots are a bit stiff, but seem decent quality. They run a bit snug, which caught me off guard but as they break in, they will stretch a bit. If I put on a heavy sock, I definitely could not wear these out of the box, but after a couple of weeks I could now.
I have read the great reviews, but actually getting the boots is the experience you need to have.
The boots are excellent quality, and after a week of breaking in, feel like they were made for my feet!!
I am already planning on my next Portland boot purchase.
I fell in love with the color highland brown. I already have the lace up boots and whiskey, so these were pretty close but… Totally different waxy pebbling. I got the size 7 men’s for my women’s size 9 feet. I had to add a moleskin strip to the cleft of the heel, since men’s heels are wider than women’s. Other than that they fit perfectly and are comfortable all day!
These are beautiful boots! My husband bought these and he won’t stop wearing them. The leather is so marbled and lovely. They seem to fit true to size and we’re comfortable right out of the box!
These were a birthday gift for my son. I ordered a 10.5, but they ended up being slightly too big and I had to exchange them for a size 10. The exchange process was so easy and the new pair were delivered so fast. He absolutely loves them! They fit perfect and are comfortable after being on his feet all day. The leather quality, craftsmanship, and smell are unmatched. Portland Leather will be our go to store for future purchases!
Good looking boots. Rub them down with mink oil before going around in them. Tread pattern decent, nice flexibility to the sole (soul?) The style I got doesn't have any insulation to em. They work well with thick socks. Will not suffice in deep snow or cold.
