Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I carry a large circle regularly and when this came in the mail and felt so much smaller in my hands I got nervous. But holds everything my large circle does easily! It's a really classic silhouette which will be great for travel. I anticipate it'll be a little fussy to get in and out of with the size of the zipper opening but nothing too obnoxious.

Love the size and the color (Cape Coral)! I'm still not feeling the white zippers on the purses. But, other than that, this may become one of my frequent flyers, like my Charlotte - which I use almost every day.
I’m very conservative. This Cypress purse is the perfect shape and size for me, but it almost glows! Not sure if the color is correct for me so I slide it into its silk bag, labeled it and placed it on my purse shelf. I showed it to my college aged granddaughter and swish it was Christmas wrapped and placed under my Christmas tree with her name on it. My shopping list just got shorter!
The colour choice is yours (I love pebbles) but this shape is perfect for travel and concerts!
Let me start by saying I don’t own every bag PLG had made. I have only been a customer a few months and I don’t need a lot of purses. That said, I thought the small poppy (my first bag) was the best but the Cypress is my favorite by far!
It hangs nicely and doesn’t tilt or flail around when I am moving. I am short-5’1 on a good day and around 225ibs. The strap currently sits exactly where I need it. There is room to expand it more. There is also a full size pocket on the outside. Thai is a major necessity for me as I photograph with my phone a lot so it goes in and out a million times.
I now have two and would like one more! I have Beetle and Cobalt. I haven’t used Beetle yet as it is more spring color and I love the darks for fall/winter. The cobalt is perfect. Mine is dark and rich looking with not as much pull towards purple as previous batches of Cobalt. I prefer that.
The inside is spacious with a small pocket. I keep my wallet in there. Currently I am using a small bifold. It fits. Normally I carry a daisy plus or small Bozeman. They fit better. I also keep a pen inside the pocket.
The body of the bag holds a fair amount of items. I am flying this week so it will hold a penny pouch which houses my charger and cord, a PLG med wrap journal, my square that holds lip balm, hand cream, eye drops, extra contacts, and tooth pickers, my reading glasses and my regular glasses. Of course my wallet and phone will be in there too!
I love my Festival bag when I'm bringing the minimum. But sometimes for daily use I need something slightly larger. This Cypress crossbody is perfect. The outside pocket and the extra depth make all the difference! I got it in Nutmeg.
