Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. From the moment I started opening my box, and a rich leather scent enveloped me, I knew this was going to be high quality. What a gorgeous tote! I purchased the honey/dark brown medium sized tote and it is superb! From the beautiful rich color, the contrasting handles, dedicated craftsmanship, to the quality leather, everything about this tote screams classic and chic. The medium size tote is perfect in size, roomy but still a purse without going into the travel bag size. I also purchased the eclipse style makeup bag in honey and love pairing the two bags together for style and organization. Stop buying flimsy little totes, make this purchase, and you’ll never buy another tote again - well, you’ll likely buy another from Portland Leather but that’s only because you LOVE it so much!

I’m in love with this classic purse! I purchased the medium which is a perfect size for everyday use. My almost perfect did have a few scuff marks on the back, which seems different than most people’s reviews saying that they couldn’t see any marks or imperfections on their bags. I love it, but wanted to mention that I do see marks on mine. Not enough to return, and figured more scuffs will happen naturally. My toddler really likes it too!

I received my medium classic leather tote in Lava and it is amazing! The color is absolutely stunning. I’m so glad I was able to scoop it up. The leather feels so luxurious, it has a mix of smooth and pebbled. The inside is spacious. There is plenty of room for my computer, iPad, wallet, cardigan, kids snacks, and way more! I love that there is both an outside and inside pocket, and the loop on the inside for keys is genius. I highly recommend this bag!

The 'Almost Perfect Leather Tote Bag" is completely perfect. Got the small size and it still carries my MacBook Pro, IPad and all the miscellaneous items I need to carry around. Both in a professional capacity or on the town with friends, this bag is all I need. And it looks good! But, best of all, it is not heavy. It really doesn't add much weight to my already overburdened load. Light and sturdy, just what I need!

This bag was not on my radar, but a woman on a recent flight with me had an OS tote in Dakota and I fell in love. I feel that the OS accommodates a laptop and other typical travel items a little better than a large tote (but maybe I just carry too much stuff!). I love the feel and texture of Dakota, and think that it could work well dressed up or down. Don’t sleep on Dakota – grab it before it retires!

I purchased the OS zippered tote in Westwood blue and I am OBSESSED. It is the perfect personal item for a trip I’m taking and fits my 15” laptop with ease. Doesn’t look too massive on me, and still fits everything. Love. Love. Love.
I have received an oversized and a small “almost perfect” totes that look perfect. I love these bags.
I had a friend have the XL zipper tote bag and I had to have one! I do so much traveling through airports, and I never appreciated one without a zipper. This bag carries everything I need and provide provides me the security of shutting it up!
I was lucky enough to find a black pebbled tote in the small size. I had no idea how much I would love it. 🥰 it holds everything I need and I love all the design features.
This is my first tote in a zipper and I love it! This new color is also great for spring and summer. Goes great with the cold brew wallet that I already have.
