Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Almost perfect Chonky cold brew

When I first started shopping PLG products this was the bag I initially chose to be my first purchase. When I saw orchid I flip-flopped. A few weeks ago there was a free add on with the canvas organizer and I said "heck yeah!" Now I have this beautifully pebbled cold brew mini crossbody and I love her! The inside of the hide is so soft, it smells amazing as always. Best I can tell about it being almost perfect is, the shorter adjustable strap which is perfect for me since I'm 5'2. A win with this gorgeous bag❣️

If you’re around 5’2” like me, this is the perfect size for your things and the last hole on the strap makes for the perfect drop length. The bag depth is perfect to fit your small wallet (I have their small envelope one), keys, a bottle of water, snacks, and other small misc items. I have this bag in nutmeg too and I can see why other people are obsessed with PLG! Everything is so well made, perfect, and smells so good. FYI, I was able to return an online purchase at their retail store in Portland. No exchanges at their store, just returns. And then if you find something you like instead, you can just buy it there :)

I ordered the mini tote bag in nutmeg. It’s a lot more red than anticipated but I still like it. I love the size for every day. Is there an in between size from the regular and mini?? I want to try other bags. Love the texture and slouchiness of the pebbled leather .

She’s a beauty! Love the Mini CB’s and Sunflower certainly did not disappoint!!! The leather is gorgeous, firm yet pliable. Picture is with the Multi Strap (purchased separately), a Taco 🌮 keychain and Petunia Pouch, both in Sunflower 🌻. The bag does come with the matching leather crossbody strap in Sunflower (not pictured). My apologies for the lack of sunshine in the picture. Can’t control Mother Nature. This was my first PLG purchase, a basic Black Pebbled AP Mini Crossbody. I'm happy to say I'm very pleased. The soft pebbled leather is beautiful, structure is sturdy, size is adequate for my needs, and overall quality is great. I'm glad to have the small canvas organizer also. It will be an everyday bag and be used for years. This won't be my last purchase, but what a challenge to decide what's next, with so many styles and colors from which to choose!

I have never ever been one to care about purses. I usually buy what's functional and don't give it a second thought. But when I needed a new purse, internet searching lead me to PLG. I loved the whole process of buying this purse. The scrolling, the research, the anticipation, the wondering if it would be as good as everyone said, etc. It took 6 days from order to holding and I've had it now about 2 weeks. The meadow is gorgeous. My hands keep wandering to feel the texture. It holds the essentials plus so much more. Plus, every time my eye catches it sitting on the corner, I smile. Like, really smile. This is so unlike me and I'm loving every minute of it!

I purchased the Mini Crossbody Tote in Nutmeg and received a small canvas organizer for free. I am 5’2”, about 105 lbs, and was concerned it would be too bulky for my frame. It’s just right. This bag holds everything I need, and the canvas organizer is a must as I am a fan of every item having its place. I chose nutmeg because I wanted it to be super soft and conform to my body over time. I prefer the zipper option and am pleased that it functions smoothly. The front outer pocket is great for my phone.

I absolutely love this bag, I got it in my favorite color deep water blue and I love it. The blue is so dark and beautiful and the leather smells so good. The leather is thick and suede on the inside. I am a lipstick gal so I did get the small Luna bag to hold my lipsticks so don’t have to look for them. I can’t say enough about this bag I love it.❤️the only thing I might change is the crossbody handle could be a couple inches longer.
I love the mini crossbody style. I purchased it in mango. That’s the one color I like that is smooth. I’m usually a pebble girl. The mini crossbody holds everything I need with a bit of room to spare. You’ll love it
