The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I was thrilled to see something in red! The color in the picture is much lighter than in reality. The only thing I can compare it to is the color of ared rose or blood. It's not bright red, not orange at all, but lighter than maroon. It's beautiful. I was surprised by how soft the leather is! If you are thinking of buying something in red, I don't see how you can go wrong with Crimson. I use the Mini Envelope Wallet to hold extra credit cards or discount cards that I don't use daily. This keeps my mini bifold wallet very thin and light and keeps everything organized nicely in my bags.
I really like the mini Hava envelope it is handy for cash and a couple of cards. This is my second one.
I'm using this little wallet as a card holder for my business cards! It's the perfect size to toss in my bag, without taking up too much room. The leather is soft and has a lovely golden copper sheen. I recommend!
Absolutely love my new Portland Leather Goods Mini Envelope. The Sunflower is a beautiful rich mustard. This one will hold my most used cards, Starbucks, my Library Card as well as others. It fits easily in one of the pockets of my Portland Leather organizer in, what else, my PLG Mini Crossbody! The Mini Envelopes make the best gifts as well!
