Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!
What if I don't love my Almost Perfect bag?
Everything from our Almost Perfect collection (excluding Mystery Box bundles) falls under our usual return policy. For more detailed information, visit our Returns page.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Lovely quality! I like this wallet as it forces me to not carry around all the things I don't actually need. Only thing I wish it had was a zip area for change but that doesn't bother me so much as I rarely carry cash anymore. Got in honey to match my large circle cb. It does take up space in that bag but again, less is more :)

I’d been wanting a ‘catch all’ for the items I typically carry when I run errands. I’m not much of a purse person, but was tired of carrying my phone, a mini wallet, and my house key. I pulled the trigger for this ‘almost perfect’ wallet and let me tell you, best decision ever. For starters, I have no idea what would be considered less than perfect, it looked flawless to me! I had rancher wallets for several years before finally using one. Now it’s my daily wallet. I was so excited for Reba color to make its debut, and the rancher is the perfect item to have it in. I prefer the more structured leathers for this wallet, Reba offers that while being super fun and pretty.

I have wanted this for a long time! Finally indulged, shape is very good for what I needed. The Canyon leather is amazing! I wish I had discovered this sooner, it’s similar to Dakota, Larkspur, Evergreen, Westward blue and maybe Phoenix. I am definitely loving this rancher with this leather!
Perfect for my Hobonichi Weeks planner!
I never believed that I would buy a Rancher wallet because they were so large. I don’t carry a lot so it’s usually the Lovebug or Mini bifold for me. Then one day I brought out my old ragged checkbook and made a decision to replace it with a Rancher. I went on the app and, lo and behold, found it in Canyon for a great discount price. It makes a fantastic checkbook and I do love Canyon. Win, win decision.
I purchased two rancher wallets, one in canyon and one in cowboy blue. The price was right and I had high hopes for the colors. I’m new to PLG and didn’t know about squishing and rolling and returned both of the wallets since they weren’t what I had hoped for. Also, I didn’t realize they only had three card slots but learned from other ladies in store that they double or triple slots without any issue in the wallet. Maybe I will try this one again since I originally wanted to love it.
