This bag is absolutely perfect for me as a toddler and young kid mom. It holds everything I need. I’ve since switched to a smaller wallet so it feel more roomy. When I first opened it, I was a little disappointed in the color. I thought it was slightly darker, more reddish than it appears on the website but it has really grown on me. This is my first ever PLG item and it was a birthday gift to myself. ☺️

Great for travel

I paired this tote with their *small* canvas organizer (link: https://www.portlandleathergoods.com/products/canvas-purse-organizer?variant=40420806590546). The organizer comes in clutch if you're planning to use this as a purse with keys, wallet, charger, chapstick, sunscreen, e-reader, yadda yadda. Used this heavily for the first time on a two week international trip, it was so easy to find everything. I also hid my passport below the organizer. The sturdiness of the leather and the structure made me totally at ease just knocking this thing around. Having the little handles in addition to the cross body came in handy when needing to make small adjustments to its location, e.g under a table, grab from security, under a seat, etc. Matches my aesthetic, like... pnw bourgeois indie casual? Love the pebbled brown, makes me feel like a glamorous archeologist. Anyway, love this bag a LOT.

New Favorite Bag

This was my first PLG bag and I love it. Perfect size, beautiful leather and the top handles have become my favorite feature for grabbing it. I appreciate the structure, but isn’t overly so with the soft leather. Added a small canvas organizer and the multi-strap for comfort.

I was really wanting a purse in Deep Water as blue is my favorite color. I was really torn between the Mini CB tote and the large Raindrop. I ended up buying the Mini CB because the sale price was fantastic and it included a free canvas liner. I’m ready pleased with my choice!
I ordered a gordita and a mini envelope in the deep water color. I like to check out the leather first by ordering an item from the small goods selections. I love it!! I decided to order the mini crossbody in the Deep Water color. When I got home I accidently spill Matcha Latte on the outside of the purse. I was freaking out because I really love the color and how it feels. I decided to grab a dry white towel and just wiped it down evenly and it just disappear. I will definitely buy more items with this type of leather. I have a few purses with the smooth and pebbled leather from Portland Leather which I utilized all the time on a daily basis but hesitate to purchase this type of leather. Never Again will I hesitate.
I absolutely love the deep water leather in my new mini crossbody! The size is perfect for those days when I don’t need a large tote but need something larger than my smaller crossbody bags. It fits comfortably against my body and the small liner fits perfect to hold my smaller items in place in the bag. I prefer the classic for convenience when I want to grab items from my bag without struggling with a zipper.
This is my first PLG bag and it was a great first purchase. I’ve been primarily using a belt bag and wanted a real purse. This mini cb is the perfect size for my needs and I love the crossbody aspect. I purchased the honey color and it’s much more rich and saturated in person. I love how elevated it feels and how it upgrades any outfit I wear.
The mini crossbody tote is the perfect size for everyday use. I love the fun cucumber color! Buying it at the outlet with the discounted price was just a bonus!
