Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I’ve tried different PLG bags over the years, and while I have a few favorite smaller cross-bodies, I found what I really needed was a roomy shoulder bag. The large slouchy is absolutely perfect, and every time I open it I’m surprised at how much space there is!

I don’t know if I would’ve purchased this bag if it hadn’t just been highlighted as a special offering just after Christmas however I really love it especially because I have hooked the bag through just one of the hardware circles and I leave the other one to hang bling. It’s perfect.

This handbag is fabulous! I have it in black and cosmo. I think it’s my new fav. If you love a shoulder bag you’re gonna need this. No inside pockets so I just store my items in littles to stay organized so it’s easy to find stuff.

My AP Lagoon Slouchy purse is great! I can’t find anything that makes it an AP, it’s perfect! I love the pebbles and lagoon color, it’s a little more firm than my Cosmo or Plum leather. It’s softening up with use. There are no sewn in pockets on the inside, I wish it had them. The no pockets is not a deal breaker for me though. Love this purse!

Great for running errands, date night, or whatever! It’s big enough to fit the necessities, but not overwhelming or heavy. Koi is so soft, supple, and perfect for the slouchy! And the pebbles are small and proportional to the bag size, which is great.

My Seagrass is amazing. Shes the right sizr. And her color. I just love it. This is my third bag, and right when i think i found the perfect one, she comes along. I love Cosmo and as a small slouchy is roomy and cute as a shoulder bag!
I’m really happy with this bag. The cobalt blue color is beautiful in person and the leather feels really nice. It looks well made and the size works well for everyday use.
Right now the bag holds its shape more than it slouches on its own, so if you want that relaxed hobo look you kind of have to push it into place a little. I’m hoping the leather will soften and break in more over time.
My only small wish is that it could convert to a crossbody because I usually prefer having my hands free. Other than that, it’s a really pretty bag and I’m glad I bought it.
AP never disappoints. Got my slouchy shoulder bag in color Sienna and it is stunning! FYI This bag does not have any inside pockets so this is where I highly recommend the canvas purse organizer. So much room for everything I need!
The slouch bag hangs so well on my shoulder, it’s my new daily bag.
