Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Holds everything I need and is such a pretty color!
I love my PinkABoo backpack. I have to say this is my favorite color of all of my Portland leather pieces. To me it’s the purest form of pink. Thank you for always out doing yourselves. Making perfect pieces and enough colors for everyone fall in love with!
I wore this while running errands with little ones for several hours. The straps are quite comfy and did not dig into my arms or shoulders. It comfortably fits several littles and a small kids' water bottle.
This is a bag I have confidence in. I will be traveling Europe and this bag reminds me of the one I bought in Italy. It looks and feels great! The color is lovely and it is a thicker leather that will hold up. I can carry as a backpack (in front or back) or as a bag. One thing I would change is the zippers. They should go in opposite directions for safety. (Top left to right and side zipper right to left so they can be carbinded together.)
