Suede: Our suede leather begins with an intricate process: the hide is split to separate the soft underside from the top layer. This top layer is then tanned, buffed, sanded, and dyed to create the signature velvety texture that defines high-quality suede. Naturally slouchy and pliable, suede leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina that tells its own story over time. Most natural imperfections are gently smoothed away during production, while subtle traces—like healed veining and the soft, napped surface—are preserved to celebrate the leather’s unique character and charm.
Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Since fabric-lined bags inevitably discolor and tear with use, we chose to showcase the soft sueded underside of our hides, ensuring that your bag lasts a lifetime.

I am a PLG backpack fanatic. I decided to get the Nutmeg laptop backpack to accompany my Nutmeg tote backpack because both can be used for different occasions.. This laptop backpack is so rich in color and the absolute perfect texture. It sits well on my back and the straps are SO comfortable. It is a little slimmer and taller than the tote but I think they both are perfect in their own way !

So, I am 5'1" and tired of backpacks that make me look like a turtle carrying my house on my back. Also, my Tumi carried so much that it was getting uncomfortably heavy. The laptop backpack is perfect for the essentials - my 13" HP laptop, power supply and then a wallet and notebook . Great for air travel as it slides nicely under the seat in front. AND it looks size appropriate ❤️ this is nutmeg which is the softer, pebbled material. It looks and smells wonderful!

This laptop backpack is so versatile! When I first got it I really was worried that it wasn’t going to be enough room to carry all of the things that I needed to carry. However, it carries my laptop my charging cord, A notebook and a planner. With enough room that if I needed to throw a wallet or my phone in there I could throw those in there as well! Love this bag

Lava is beautiful. I mainly ordered the laptop in lava because I already have a toaster in a different color and I wanted to try a new style in this color. I gasped when I opened the box. It has amazing subtle pull-up. It looks so much better in real life. I have an older 2012 15in MacBook Pro - it does fit without a sleeve. Front pocket is great for Kindle Paperwhite (unsure of model). Intend to use bag for my Bookclub and maybe day trips/hiking. I prefer not to use backpacks in major cities bc of security of my belongings. I am very pleased with this purchase. It also compliments my sunflower littles! I’m now eyeing other styles in Lava because it is an amazing color!

This bag! 😍 So soft, the perfect size, fits my 13 inch MacBook Air with ease. Nice and slim so I don’t overpack it but totally has room for the essentials and doesn’t look too large on me (I’m 5’3 so many laptop backpacks do).
