This is my 3rd pair of shoes from PLG.. these particular shoes are so fun! Remind me if my teen years! Fun and comfy!! They did not need any break in time like my loafers did, so it made them even better .. little narrow in the toe box but so think I’m time that won’t be an issue as they wear in.
An updated and fun loafer! The fit is true to size and comfortable right out of the box! I love the chunky sole! Would love to own another in a different color!
I love these shoes as they are comfortable right out of the box. They fit beautifully and are so soft. I have plantar fasciitis and these shoes are great on my feet. I received an email that the shoes had arrived and in fact they had not. Meanwhile five days later after I contacted the neighbors, and they had not received it, I then contacted FED EX and they swore it had been delivered. Next I contacted Portland Leather Goods and Cassia was wonderful. I was offered a full refund or they would send another pair. Fortunately the shoes did arrive the next day. Will order from this company again as the quality is very high and the customer service is excellent. Cassia was very gracious and understanding. Thank you.
I bought a pair of these in fawn and I LOVE them, so I bought shadow black. These rubbed a horrible blister AND the sole fell apart after an 8 HOUR WEAR. They hurt, they are miserable. I am so upset. Look at the weird shape of the foot that hurts…. NO ONES FOOT IS SHAPED LIKE THIS so dont blame it on the “leather stretching”. This is obviously a faulty pair and I’m in so much pain now. No one ever responded to my multiple emails but I got a notification they sent another pair to me. I’ll modify this review if those are any better. Until then… ugh!
This is my first time getting a shoe from Portland leather. I was skeptical and wasn’t sure if the size was going to fit me. After a few days of constantly being on my feet for work , the shoe has molded into my feet and feel a lot better than I had originally felt . It’s sturdy, and feels like good quality. I do like how chunky it is and when you step you can feel the cushion of the sole. Being a flight attendant I am constantly on my feet so having a good quality shoe is key. No complaints but initially when I had to break them in the heel did hurt bc it kept on rubbing against my achilles, but now I hardly notice the pain. If after 6 months it still feels comfortable than I will invest in another shoe. As you can see I’m wearing them to work for service. Also the shoe itself is pretty heavy .
These are classics and comfortable out of the box. I’ll get a lot of use out of these! Fits true to save. Slightly heavy.
