Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I see no defects for an Almost Perfect product! I must have gotten lucky! I am coming from a wallet with an ID window sewn into the middle zip pouch, so that’s taken adjusting to, but it’s very roomy, while not feeling too big. It was still at first, being quality leather, but it’s loosened up a bit. The zipper is pretty hardy too, and I expect that to give a little as the wallet becomes more pliable. This fits perfectly in the Portland Leather Triangle Shoulder Bag, both horizontally and vertically, shown in the images below.

Very happy with my first PLG purchase! This wallet is a great size with the perfect number of pockets/card holders. If I look closely I can see a couple of imperfect spots (bits that are lighter colored) but I anticipate those marks will only give the wallet more character as it's used more and acquires normal wear and tear.
