Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I’m absolutely obsessed with this gorgeous bag!! I got the large in black and thought it might be too large, but once it’s on, the way it slouches makes it look very nice. You can fit so much inside! This will be great for winters here in northern Illinois when I need to carry a hat, gloves, and a scarf with me! But I’ve also been loving styling it this summer too :) Definitely my new favorite bag!

It is the perfect size to hold all the things yet tucks comfortably under my arm and doesn’t slide off the shoulder. My favorite feature is that it sits up nicely, even when overloaded and doesn’t tip over, which drives me nuts. I ordered Chili Red for my winter everyday carry. I was tempted by the new Sienna color to try this new bag style and I have to say I do love this bag!! I’m normally a tote backpack girl, but was intrigued by this new style and color and happy I tried it! It’s a keeper and at this price point it is a bargain!! I did have to use a PLG organizer due to no pockets, but it worked like a charm. Great bag!!

This was my FIRST purchase and I was so torn on which bag to get. After much deliberation, I stepped out of my comfort zone and opted for a shoulder bag, the AP large Aspen in Coldbrew. I could not be happier with my purchase! The smell, the perfect slouch, and the color just blew me away. I have purse peace after only one bag!(though that won't stop me from buying more lol)

The Aspen is such a great bag. I have purchased both sizes, medium and large. I use my small PLG purse organizer. The only thing I wish it had a key holder but I still love it without it!!

I’m in love with my large Aspen in Nutmeg! It’s comfortable to carry, large but not massive, and holds everything I need plus some.
I don’t usually carry a lot of stuff around with me so when I carry a large bag it’s just for looks. However, I recently started taking a card dealing class in which I need to bring multiple decks of cards a notebook pen, and my water bottle in addition to the normal things I carry. This bag ended up being perfect. It fits so much with extra room to spare giving it a floppy appearance which I love. This is also my only bag with a zipper. I normally don’t choose a zipper bag but this works out perfect for when I have my back turned away from my stuff in my class.
The large Aspen in Night Owl is my first PLG & will not be last as it has started an addiction! I was looking for a bag that I could easily transition from to work to daily life so I didn’t have to keep transferring my phone, wallet, eyes, etc … from bag to bag (I despise have to juggle work & purses). The large Aspen fit that bill perfectly! I was a little worried that my work issued 15 in MacBook Air wouldn’t fit, but it does so beautifully - I’m even able to zip the bag closed when loaded with all my other pouches (which now include some PLG “littles” - the addiction truly is real😂). Now…. The real question is what will be my next bag…
This bag is luscious! It’s so much prettier in person. Soft, perfectly slouchy, huge. I got the large in black. Sits well on the shoulder. So happy with my purchase. This will be a forever bag.
Just received my Large Night Owl Aspen. She sure is a beauty. I think she has a lot more room than her Naomi “sister.” Now, if I could just get one in Boreal, I would be in Heaven! Sigh…
