This is my second purchase from PLG and it is so far my favorite! The medium Aspen in plum is my perfect bag: fits plenty, zips nicely, stays on my shoulder with the adjustable strap, and the leather is so pebbly and soft. I use one of the canvas organizers since there are no pockets in this bag and it helps so much. I plan to pick up another Aspen in Sienna! Debating on trying the large next time. The medium is great for everyday errands and work, but would not be a good laptop bag.

I have the medium in pebbled black and large in sea glass Aspen bags. I love them both. I do find the medium carries more like a shoulder bag and the large carries more like a tote. They both are so comfortable to carry. I like that they have adjustable straps. The zipper is very smooth and doesn’t get hung up. They both are very spacious. There is no pockets which doesn’t bother me but I know that’s a deal breaker for some. This is a bag I definitely would buy in more colors. I just love the shape and how comfortable it is.

Absolutely love the medium size Aspen! The zipper glides with just one hand. You can see deep into the bag for anything your are looking for. I wasn’t sure about the colorSUNSHINE when I opened it and almost returned it to the Columbus store. But when I saw the eyes light up of the sales staff, I knew she truly was a stunning color and ended up keeping it. lol.The shoulder strap on the Aspen is perfect. Half the time I don’t realize it’s even on my shoulder. Don’t delay if you are on the fence about the Aspen and the color SUNSHINE.

I have the medium Aspen in cold brew and absolutely love it. Its simple design makes it a go to bag for any outfit. And its spacious interior easily accommodates everything I carry. I included a photo from a recent trip. The water bottle actually fits in this bag with my kindle, phone, large bifold wallet and several other items. I can zip the bag closed with the bottle fully inside.

In love with this bag! Tried out a new color as well, and it’s the cutest thing. Love the slouch, the smell of the leather and everything. However, I recommend getting a purse organizer because the leather will dye the things you put inside. Other than that, no complaints! :)

4.5 rounded up because I love everything - the color, the large size, the feel of the leather, it isn’t too pebbled and I like that it shows a little “wear and tear grit” But not so much I have to worry about it staying “pristine”. The only think I would change is I would add one interior pocket.

The large aspen is amazing!!! I love the amount of slouch, the color, the texture…. Love it alll!!! The only tiny thing that would make me love it more is if it were able to extend the strap another 4 inches to throw on as a crossbody. I Did purchase the extender strap but I find it awkward and makes it way too long on the shortest option. I’m 5’5” and 135 lbs for reference!

My AP bags are better than the premium

I ordered a premium this time around and my AP aspens were better than the premium. The color is great and I love the medium aspen size and shape. The pebbles luckily were not the new stamped pebbles.But I do wish they were bigger. She came with some weird indents but I flipped her inside out and rolled her and I think as she softens they will get better.

The Asian is a nice slouchy bag with lots of color choices. It comes in a variety of sizes as well.
The hype over Portland is real! My medium sized bag is that quintessential size. Not too big. Not too small. The leather is supple yet still hold its shape. A really good investment.
This bag is so beautiful. Many shades of navy can be very dark but this is decidedly blue and matches everything! The leather is very nice. I miss pockets inside but a purse organizer can solve that. The size and shape are great. Really happy
Due to physical constraints, my days of carrying a purse and tote are over, so I need larger bags that hold everything. The OS Aspen, certainly qualifies! I could easily use this as a weekender bag as well!
I am so pleased with this bag. I ordered Aspen medium premium in Coldbrew. The leather is so good. I love the zipper. Its not wavy to me. It carries a lot for everyday. Its squishy but thick. I love the strap so much too.
