Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

My first Butterfly, not my last

When I saw the Meadow release, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to try the Butterfly Bucket Bag. I am usually a medium crossbody gal, but I think the Butterfly is just as roomy and I love the two inside pockets on the sides. Meadow is stunning, so as I was traveling recently I stopped at an overlook in the Blue Ridge Mountains to take a photo of her with a gorgeous backdrop. The quality and variety of PLG keeps me coming back! Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for us next.

I expected to like this more than my coldbrew bucket bag, but I think they’re tied. Just as spacious as my large bucket, but more refined for a different look. It fits my full size vintage wallet, a large love bug, a penny pouch, a taco, my phone, my kindle, and a sidekick with room to spare! It might even fit a smaller sized library book, but it doesn’t fit the large hardcover book I’m currently reading.

I was worried because the last AP item I purchased was abysmal, but this cold brew butterfly bag is absolutely beautiful! It did have a very strong smell(a mix of leather and chemicals), but I’m not overly sensitive so it doesn’t bother me. It is the perfect size for my everyday stuff and isn’t bulky but still roomy.

For me, this bag is perfection. The Lagoon color is gorgeous and it’s soft, which makes this bag feel perfectly comfortable. It stays open when I want it to, sitting on the floor by my chair, but the snap is easy and fast to close it. The hook closure inside makes it super secure and nothing will fall out. It holds more than I need and is not heavy. The strap is removable and adjustable, double up for a perfect shoulder bag. It’s a bit shorter than the drawstring bucket.

I ordered the butterfly bag in Anjou. The AP bag I received felt a little dry to me, but perhaps that is the nature of this particular leather. I made the decision to condition the bag with Bick 4 and am so glad I did. The color is still gorgeous and the bag feels so nice. I found a wider strap that I think complements the bag and can't wait to carry it this spring.

I LOVE the Butterfly Bucket Bag. As a plus size women, I feel this bag fits me perfectly! It's perfect for everyday carry and looks adorable with a shorter shoulder strap. Need one I'm every color!
I have another butterfly I bought in nutmeg, but I love the ruby red, and decided I needed one in that color, too!! The leather is smooth and holds it's shape! For me this are perfect for taking a knitting project with me. I have a small organizer in it to keep my notions, needles, scissors, and working yarn organized :) It's a great size and shape!!!
I have a few butterfly’s and I love them. You can carry as a crossbody or double the strap up and use as a shoulder bag.
I’m so in love with my red butterfly bucket bag. I dressed it up in Mickey & Minnie theme and everyone loved it. I wish I had taken a picture but I’m in my bone colored butterfly bucket bag.
