Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!
What if I don't love my Almost Perfect bag?
Everything from our Almost Perfect collection (excluding Mystery Box bundles) falls under our usual return policy. For more detailed information, visit our Returns page.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

My first Butterfly, not my last

When I saw the Meadow release, I knew this was the perfect opportunity to try the Butterfly Bucket Bag. I am usually a medium crossbody gal, but I think the Butterfly is just as roomy and I love the two inside pockets on the sides. Meadow is stunning, so as I was traveling recently I stopped at an overlook in the Blue Ridge Mountains to take a photo of her with a gorgeous backdrop. The quality and variety of PLG keeps me coming back! Can't wait to see what they have up their sleeves for us next.

I expected to like this more than my coldbrew bucket bag, but I think they’re tied. Just as spacious as my large bucket, but more refined for a different look. It fits my full size vintage wallet, a large love bug, a penny pouch, a taco, my phone, my kindle, and a sidekick with room to spare! It might even fit a smaller sized library book, but it doesn’t fit the large hardcover book I’m currently reading.

For me, this bag is perfection. The Lagoon color is gorgeous and it’s soft, which makes this bag feel perfectly comfortable. It stays open when I want it to, sitting on the floor by my chair, but the snap is easy and fast to close it. The hook closure inside makes it super secure and nothing will fall out. It holds more than I need and is not heavy. The strap is removable and adjustable, double up for a perfect shoulder bag. It’s a bit shorter than the drawstring bucket.

I ordered the butterfly bag in Anjou. The AP bag I received felt a little dry to me, but perhaps that is the nature of this particular leather. I made the decision to condition the bag with Bick 4 and am so glad I did. The color is still gorgeous and the bag feels so nice. I found a wider strap that I think complements the bag and can't wait to carry it this spring.

Butterfly buckets are one of my favorite PLG bags. Cosmo is beautiful also. Used this bag on a recent road trip and it was a perfect size!
Been patiently waiting for butterfly, and I lucked out finding a harbor butterfly on the very top shelf behind some others in store. AND to add to my luck I found the matching picasso! SCORE
Love the Butterfly Buckets with how much they can carry and the dual magnet & hook eye closures. The black is classic and I’m looking forward to more colors coming out
This is my first Butterfly Bucket bag and I’m not sure why I waited so long to get one. Cosmo is so bright & pretty and can be dressed up or down. I really appreciate the dual magnet and hook eye closures on this bag as well
The color Cognac is gorgeous. The bag is a little small for me & I prefer a zipper. But the bag is awesome 😎
