We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. I was hesitant to buy this bag because I wasn’t sure I liked the magnetic closure and the shape. I got it in medium bacalar. It is beautiful, squishy and lightweight. I love that it can be carried multiple ways, my favorite being crossbody but more in the front as in the picture. So glad I went for it.

I love the various wearability options of the large koala. It's spacious without being too large. It is a good alternative to Nora because of the adjustable strap and wider opening. I do think an additional center closure / magnet would be helpful as well as a stitch across the closure flap where it folds over to keep the bag from sagging when it is closed.
AP Medium Honey Koala Sling

I like this bag for on the go situations where you need a bit more room than a Sidney/Scarlett/belt bag. It’s a magnetic closure instead of a zipper so easy on the hands for quick in and out without irritating your skin. The trade off is that it’s a little less secure than a zipper. I’m happy with the medium size. But, I think a large would have been okay as well, even for someone like myself that’s on the shorter size at 5’3”. Honey is a BEAUTIFUL color and I’m not sure she gets enough love as an old faithful, tried and true, classic neutral.
Perfect daily bag!

For months I debated on getting a koala bag. What size should I get? Will it sit comfortably as a crossbody? Are the magnets secure enough? Well I decided to try out an AP medium koala in bacalar and it’s fantastic. I paired it with a large seesaw pouch and it has become my go-to daily bag. The medium is deceptively roomy and fits more than my essentials. The magnets are strong and there is no risk of anything tumbling out if I drop the bag. My only drawback with this bag is how short the strap is. For reference I’m usually an XL or XXL in tops and I wear the strap on the longest option and it is pretty snug. For my plus size purse pals this might not work unless you are willing to cut off the strap and replace it with another. As for the color, it’s a bright true green that is delightfully squishy but just firm enough to hold its shape well
Small but Mighty!

I've had my eye on the Koala bags for a while and was specifically looking for a small crossbody to use for events and travel. When this style was released, I happened to have some rewards points saved up—so I went for it. I'm genuinely surprised and impressed by how spacious this bag is, especially given its compact appearance. It easily fits all my essentials: phone, small wallet, keys, glasses case, and chapstick/hand sanitizer—with room to spare. I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

Soft and squishy!

I might have a nutmeg problem, haha. This leather is so soft and squishy. This is a great size (large) and I love the way the top folds over and fastens with magnets. Very slouchy and perfect. I like the 2 interior pockets. My pup also fits in this style, so if you have a 5-6 pound dog, the softer leathers work as a sling and hug around your furbaby. :)

Koala is the purse I never knew I needed! It is gorgeous, sits up nicely and is the perfect crossbody bag. My large bifold and kindle with case fit in easily. The size and shape are deceptive—Koala holds much more than expected and is super easy to open one handed.

I’m a baggu girlie but I’ve never liked how their leather bags have the nylon strap. This is what I’ve been waiting for. I have the large and it’s super slouchy, hugs to the body, fits everything, and the magnetic closure is strong! Molino is really pretty and a total chameleon.
Not the right combination

I snagged the medium Koala in cowboy blue the moment it was released. I had wanted something in this color & I thought this would be it. Though adorable, the smooth leather was too stiff for my taste & use-case. When new suedes or pebbles are released in a color I’m interested in, I’ll try again. I’ve loved seeing everyone’s slouchy pebbled Koalas—that’s exactly what I’m looking for!

This is perfect for travel - holds a small wallet, passport and small essentials. The longer strap was a plus, although for shorter people like me the extender tends to lay on the ribcage if you wear it sling style. Not a deal-breaker for me though, it is a cute bag!
Divisive choice to match the times

There is something really fun about opening this bag. That might be a niche experience but it's super fun to open the bag and just gaze inside. My impression of the conversation in the Insiders group is you might like the bag more or less depending on your size. I think as a quick grab and go bag, it's awesome but you certainly can't overstuff it and expect it to look as nice. I would factor in your needs into whether this is a good bag for you or not.

I am obsessed with this bag! I love a sling bag and this one is so comfortable to wear. The large is a little big on my petite frame, but the medium is a dream. Fits a taco, taco keychain, euro wallet, face mask, my phone, and lip balm perfectly! It also fits my passport holder with accompanying passports, but those make it feel a little heavy. This has been my most consistent carry as of late! The Naples color is awesome, I’m calling this my banana bag. Highly recommend! I wasn’t drawn to this bag initially, but I’m so glad I tried it out.

Pebbled Black everything has been my tried and true since I first discovered PLG a few years ago. So when I saw the PB Koala on sale, I had to add it to my vast collection. This leather is not only beautiful and durable, but it's easy to keep clean & always new-looking.

I’ve eyed this bag for a long while and finally bit the bullet! I LOVE it! I have debated on size and while I’m not 100% certain I didn’t *need* a large size bec I love to carry my kindle around with me, it does fit when placed in and angled, in the medium. The Medium is the perfect size for the look and what I wanted! It’s a step up from a lulu belt bag, and not as massive as a baggu crescent bag. I love the smell and will probably buy another one. Probably a large to have both sizes!
This little sling bag is perfect for at the gym and traveling. I love the look and feel of it. I get asked where i got it every time I wear it.
