Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

My collection of PLG bags is growing but I had never ordered a Poppy before. I’m so glad I added her to my stash. She’s the perfect little size for running around town and doing errands and shopping. She’s big enough to hold all the essentials but yet small enough to keep me from overfilling her and making it so uncomfortable to carry for long periods of time. Got her in Nutmeg and I adore this leather. So soft and comfortable against the body. And of course the “PLG perfume”! LOL The only thing that would make her better is a thicker strap, but you can definitely add those on “aftermarket”…

My first poppy and I love it! Took the poppy plunge when the color Kyoto was released and no regrets! Soft pebblely smaller bag for everyday carry that fits all my basics. Don’t sleep on the color Kyoto as it’s an understated soft colored “neutral”.

Small but holds the essentials (bifold, keys, Adriana, glasses case, phone). Secure with a crossbody strap and a zipper, and a nice structured shape for a more formal look. Succulent is so soft to the touch, a pretty medium green that will look bright with winter's darker colors and fresh with summer brights and pastels.

I bought this Poppy for the color (I already have a Poppy in Nutmeg and love it). I was not disappointed! The only imperfection is the zipper. It works just fine but is not perfectly straight. Believe me - no one notices. PLG, I need a tote this color!

I ordered the larger size. Great for shopping when you need the essentials but not everything.
The poppy is a great size for when you just need the essentials along. Aster is such a lovely pebbled periwinkle/lavender color - a perfect shade for my light summer color palette.
This charming classic bag is definitely bigger inside than out, AND it has a zipper. Can easily carry my "essentials": passport, 10 credit-card-sized plastic cards, 3 sets of keys, phone, trial-sized lip gloss, moisturizer, sanitizer, cash... and not bulge or look overstuffed. The colors are all great. I'm not a single-style person, but if I had to limit, Poppy is in the top 5.
I got a smaller poppy in the c sale an loved it so much I had to buy another in my favorite neutral color. Great purse.
My first Poppy is love at first sight! I wanted a Pistachio-colored purse, but wasn't sure the Large Poppy would hold my necessities. I was once again wrong, and am happy to acknowledge that! I love the style, shape, size and of course color of my purchase. I look forward to buying more on this style!
