My ideal purse

This is my second purchase from PLG and it is so far my favorite! The medium Aspen in plum is my perfect bag: fits plenty, zips nicely, stays on my shoulder with the adjustable strap, and the leather is so pebbly and soft. I use one of the canvas organizers since there are no pockets in this bag and it helps so much. I plan to pick up another Aspen in Sienna! Debating on trying the large next time. The medium is great for everyday errands and work, but would not be a good laptop bag.

This might be my new favorite PLG purse! The only things I wish it had was an inside pocket & metal loop on the strap to clip hand sanitizer to. I ordered the medium in black & the color & quality are top notch as always & the size is ideal for an every day purse. Also, the slouch is PERFECT!

I have the medium in pebbled black and large in sea glass Aspen bags. I love them both. I do find the medium carries more like a shoulder bag and the large carries more like a tote. They both are so comfortable to carry. I like that they have adjustable straps. The zipper is very smooth and doesn’t get hung up. They both are very spacious. There is no pockets which doesn’t bother me but I know that’s a deal breaker for some. This is a bag I definitely would buy in more colors. I just love the shape and how comfortable it is.

I have the medium Aspen in cold brew and absolutely love it. Its simple design makes it a go to bag for any outfit. And its spacious interior easily accommodates everything I carry. I included a photo from a recent trip. The water bottle actually fits in this bag with my kindle, phone, large bifold wallet and several other items. I can zip the bag closed with the bottle fully inside.

The large aspen is amazing!!! I love the amount of slouch, the color, the texture…. Love it alll!!! The only tiny thing that would make me love it more is if it were able to extend the strap another 4 inches to throw on as a crossbody. I Did purchase the extender strap but I find it awkward and makes it way too long on the shortest option. I’m 5’5” and 135 lbs for reference!

In love with this bag! Tried out a new color as well, and it’s the cutest thing. Love the slouch, the smell of the leather and everything. However, I recommend getting a purse organizer because the leather will dye the things you put inside. Other than that, no complaints! :)

Aspen Large = purse peace

Purse peace is real and ive experienced it with the large Aspen. What a comfortable bag that fits everything that a medium crossbody fits, but very comfortably. I just bought it in Sienna too (Chestnut jumbo tassel is a good match). I may go for Coldrew if I can find the pebbles I prefer (dinosaur) and if PLG would do a black zipper on the Nutmeg instead of white, my collection would be complete! This bag is stunning, and well, I'm not finding that i want to carry any of my many other PLG bags, apart from the squishy Poppy if I need a small carry. LOVE this bag! Please make is Naples!

I bought the large for travel and was scared it would be too big for me to carry on a normal day (I like a purse better than a backpack on airplanes) but I was so wrong. The way it slouches is PERFECT. This can fit a 24oz water bottle standing upright and still zipper as well as just about everything else you could need, but because of the way it slouches in the middle doesn’t look or feel too big when you carry it. I can’t recommend it enough. The color and feel is perfect and I definitely see a medium in my future for when I want something just a bit smaller. Included a pic of everything that can fit with room to spare, as well as what it looks like carried with all of that stuff in it.
The Aspen has a great shape that carries a lot, without looking clunky. I chose the Pebbled Black, and was happy with the leather quality (it reminded me of a hide used for chap splits, the inside sueded, the other the textured outer side). The hardware was nice quality, zipper and buckle. I was very happy with the Aspen, and even more so for the price.
Chili Red is so beautiful!
I love everything about this purse. Classy looking but can add some flair for fun. And the smell of the leather is just heavenly. I like using a canvas organizer to keep it organized.
Absolutely obsessed with this bag! I love the shape and size. It holds all of my little pouches without feeling overly full. I will be buying it in more colors very shortly 🙂
