Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Since fabric-lined bags inevitably discolor and tear with use, we chose to showcase the soft sueded underside of our hides, ensuring that your bag lasts a lifetime.

Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade—making each piece uniquely yours.

Lovely Bucket Backpack!

This backpack is a great size...not too big and not too small. It was my first Sienna item and I LOVE it!!!

Very nice bag!

I really like my bucket backpack. Although it’s an “AP”, I can’t find any marks or problems with the bag at all! It’s big enough to hold what I need for the day, but not too big that it starts to feel heavy on my shoulders. I’m pleased with this purchase.

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

This was my first AP purchase and it took some time to decide as I love all of my premiums. I will say, that there are obvious reasons this bag was a premium. Before addressing the AP part, I’ll share the “loves”.
The color!!! This color is sooo yummy and beautiful. This was also my first non-neutral color. Nervous? Yes. Happy? Absolutely!!! Boreal is the bomb!!
Shape/structure- I’m so happy with the size and shape of this backpack! Not too big and not too small. The flap snaps well, the ties to gather the bag hold well. Only downside of the structure is the length of the straps once adjusted. Several PL insiders gave me great suggestions to keep them from dangling far below the bag.
Premium vs AP- if I could do it over, I may have gone premium. The flap of the bag is darker in color from the rest of bag. The body of the bag, while one piece of continuous piece of leather but one side is smooth and stiffer, the other side is beautifully pebbled. It hasn’t stopped me from loving it though. It just confirmed my allegiance to premium.
