Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade, making each piece uniquely yours.
Savings
Almost Perfect items can feature more prominent character marks than our Premium line, and/or small stitching variations, showcasing the aesthetic variety of our natural hides and handmade designs.
Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!
What if I don't love my Almost Perfect bag?
Everything from our Almost Perfect collection (excluding Mystery Box bundles) falls under our usual return policy. For more detailed information, visit our Returns page.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

The Portland Leather Difference
Trusted by over 1 Million customers
Excellent & Fashionable
by: Mirabel A.
Love the bucket bags. However, this one is my most favorite shoulder strap bucket bag. The attention to fashion detail and accessories is the perfect touch. Adding the 3 trees on the extra strip of leather creates a pleasant, extra "look". I also adore how I can clip my keys right onto the outside of my purse, instead of digging around for them. Definitely recommend the large size. It holds ALL the things - regular sized wallet, girl products, makeup in a small Portland Leather zip pouch, 6" kindle, all my extras that I carry with me in a large Portland Leather zip pouch, small Portland leather wallet, and my small tub of body butter in the winter.
Purse Peace
by: Leslie P.
I knew when this bag came out, I had to have it in Sienna. I have her and she is perfect. Holds what I need it to and she is just gorgeous. Don't question, just purchase.
Another winner
by: Robin R.
So beautiful! I bought the small in coldbrew and I love it! The size is perfect, I can fit all my essentials and still have room enough for more. I love the strap length and it’s comfortable on the shoulder. Such a nice design, highly recommend!
Obsessed!

This bucket bag is BEAUTIFUL ! I’m obsessed with the design, the pebbling, and the color is so so precious! This is my favorite bag now!

What a beauty
by: Angela G.
From the chilli red color to the small size, this bag is a beauty! I couldn’t be happier! This is a really cute purse, I am not a shoulder purse gal, so I’ll be carrying this bag either on my arm or as a cross body. It’s perfect for both! Can’t wait to rock it with a red and black outfit and of course some red lips 👄
Purse Peace!
by: Jillian L.
I have found purse peace with this bag. I purchased a Coldbrew Firefly and I absolutely love everything about it. This bag fits perfect on my shoulder. I love the d-ring on the back. I put my house keys on there and it works perfectly getting into the house with full arms and hands. I love the large inside pocket. There’s plenty of space inside with the large bag. I love how it looks and feels. I need this bag in Sunshine next please! Love, love, love this bag.
Small Sienna Firefly
by: Shannon D.
Absolutely love all my beautiful PLG bags and littles but this squishy, pebbly Sienna Firefly has been my favorite carry so far. This small bucket carries all my daily essentials with room to spare. The drawstring makes it easy to open and close and the shoulder strap is comfortable. The color is a perfect neutral and the leather feels and smells amazing.
Red Beauty
by: Nitza M.
I had been eyeing this beauty for a while and finally decided to purchase her! She is the perfect size and I love the color! I purchased jewelry just to match, because I’m not into wearing red clothing and prefer the red pop of color!
