We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. I have the large Koala in Sienna. I really love the color and the flexibility of the leather. Having the inside pockets is great for keeping my wallet easily accessible. The magnet closure is really nice because they are strong enough that your stuff stays inside, but also quick to open when you are grabbing your items. I wore mine on vacation in Florida after I received it, and it held my wallet, phone, sunglasses, and my fujifilm camera no problem (while also still having a bit of slouch.) Overall, very happy with this purchase!! It also goes perfect with basically every outfit!

I bought this small Koala sling bag to carry the essentials for quick errands and it is the perfect little bag! Meadow is such a gorgeous print and because it is a stiffer leather, it gives the bag great structure. I also love the longer strap on the small koala that allows me to wear it crossbody as well! I will absolutely be getting more small koalas in the future and would purchase the medium/large ones as well if the straps were just a bit longer on those!

AP Medium Honey Koala Sling

I like this bag for on the go situations where you need a bit more room than a Sidney/Scarlett/belt bag. It’s a magnetic closure instead of a zipper so easy on the hands for quick in and out without irritating your skin. The trade off is that it’s a little less secure than a zipper. I’m happy with the medium size. But, I think a large would have been okay as well, even for someone like myself that’s on the shorter size at 5’3”. Honey is a BEAUTIFUL color and I’m not sure she gets enough love as an old faithful, tried and true, classic neutral.

I love the various wearability options of the large koala. It's spacious without being too large. It is a good alternative to Nora because of the adjustable strap and wider opening. I do think an additional center closure / magnet would be helpful as well as a stitch across the closure flap where it folds over to keep the bag from sagging when it is closed.

I bought a bag from Portland Leather several years ago and I got so many compliments on my bag that I went back to the site and found another bag that I liked. The Koala Sling bag is a great looking bag and the quality is the same as the top expensive brands but at a better price. You can also get your bag in many different colors.
Cute and well made little bag with magnetic closure. I have a pretty big iPhone and it has to be put in here just right or i cant close it.
I had the large koala bag in nutmeg for about a year. I carried it almost everyday expect to the gym. I used my lululemon bag. I saw the AP sale with additional off. I order my little man on medium bacalar and I wear it everyday even to church. I love my little man. I just ordered another medium in sunshine yellow. That will be used all of July and August. Order it go on you will not be disappointed.

Love the Molino Blue color leather. All the koala sizes are fantastic for different purposes - the large in molino is such a cool statement bag as a clutch or short shoulder bag. Soft pebbled texture is soothing in a tactile asmr type of way.
