I bought this small Koala sling bag to carry the essentials for quick errands and it is the perfect little bag! Meadow is such a gorgeous print and because it is a stiffer leather, it gives the bag great structure. I also love the longer strap on the small koala that allows me to wear it crossbody as well! I will absolutely be getting more small koalas in the future and would purchase the medium/large ones as well if the straps were just a bit longer on those!

I was hesitant to buy this bag because I wasn’t sure I liked the magnetic closure and the shape. I got it in medium bacalar. It is beautiful, squishy and lightweight. I love that it can be carried multiple ways, my favorite being crossbody but more in the front as in the picture. So glad I went for it.

I love the various wearability options of the large koala. It's spacious without being too large. It is a good alternative to Nora because of the adjustable strap and wider opening. I do think an additional center closure / magnet would be helpful as well as a stitch across the closure flap where it folds over to keep the bag from sagging when it is closed.
AP Medium Honey Koala Sling

I like this bag for on the go situations where you need a bit more room than a Sidney/Scarlett/belt bag. It’s a magnetic closure instead of a zipper so easy on the hands for quick in and out without irritating your skin. The trade off is that it’s a little less secure than a zipper. I’m happy with the medium size. But, I think a large would have been okay as well, even for someone like myself that’s on the shorter size at 5’3”. Honey is a BEAUTIFUL color and I’m not sure she gets enough love as an old faithful, tried and true, classic neutral.

For months I debated on getting a koala bag. What size should I get? Will it sit comfortably as a crossbody? Are the magnets secure enough? Well I decided to try out an AP medium koala in bacalar and it’s fantastic. I paired it with a large seesaw pouch and it has become my go-to daily bag. The medium is deceptively roomy and fits more than my essentials. The magnets are strong and there is no risk of anything tumbling out if I drop the bag. My only drawback with this bag is how short the strap is. For reference I’m usually an XL or XXL in tops and I wear the strap on the longest option and it is pretty snug. For my plus size purse pals this might not work unless you are willing to cut off the strap and replace it with another. As for the color, it’s a bright true green that is delightfully squishy but just firm enough to hold its shape well

I've had my eye on the Koala bags for a while and was specifically looking for a small crossbody to use for events and travel. When this style was released, I happened to have some rewards points saved up—so I went for it. I'm genuinely surprised and impressed by how spacious this bag is, especially given its compact appearance. It easily fits all my essentials: phone, small wallet, keys, glasses case, and chapstick/hand sanitizer—with room to spare. I'm extremely happy with this purchase!

Soft and squishy!

I might have a nutmeg problem, haha. This leather is so soft and squishy. This is a great size (large) and I love the way the top folds over and fastens with magnets. Very slouchy and perfect. I like the 2 interior pockets. My pup also fits in this style, so if you have a 5-6 pound dog, the softer leathers work as a sling and hug around your furbaby. :)

I chose the large Coldbrew Koala after watching a TikTok review. Absolutely don’t know why this bag is not the top seller! The magnets stay secure, keeps me hands free.. throw the bag in the car and there are no worries of spills!!! Holds all of my essentials and then some without being bulky and remains squishy!!! And it’s classy!!! In my photos she is the richest and darkest of the current browns. Don’t sleep on the Koala!!!
I bought the medium Koala in Orchid. Her color is amazing. The size is perfect for what i carry. I wish the the crossbody strap was as long as the one on the small koala. Especially with wearing heavier coats.
This is my 2nd Koala! I’ve never bought the same bag in different sizes! This is a first because I found my 1st in the small (Ultraviolet) to be perfect for a trip to the store or use at an airport but can be stuffed into a larger bag when boarding my flight. But sometimes I wish it was slightly bigger so I bought the medium. Love the size and the pebble of the Molino Blue. The only thing I was hoping for in the medium was that the strap was the same length as the small because I like wearing it as a crossbody. It’s shorter on the medium. I did buy a kaleidoscope strap in waterfall to attach but now I will have to figure out if I’m going to remove the original strap. Overall I’m happy with both sizes!!
This medium size sling bag is the perfect size for a wallet, phone, keys and a couple more necessities. The chili red color is beautiful, especially against my black leather jacket. Will be getting another color. Might even size up.
