Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I’m super happy with my new Rue backpack in Coldbrew! As a plus-size woman, the strap length is perfect, allowing me to carry it either with both shoulder straps in a traditional backpack style, or with one as a sling. I didn’t need this backpack. I was curious about the convertibility factor and was interested in the possibilities of having a larger capacity sling that I could still carry on my back. And then it arrived and the pebbling is so gorgeous/handsome that I don’t even care about whether it’s practical or not, to be honest. As a two-strap standard backpack it sits a little too low for me (I’m 5’-2”) but I will probably be using it more as a sling-pack, so this doesn’t bother me. Nice medium sized capacity. Back-panel pocket is a nice feature. There is no interior pocket- but that’s also not important to me, personally.
I purchased this backpack in orchid and love the color. It's very roomy and comfortable to wear. I am 5'7" and have no issue with the way it sits on my low back.
