Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I didn’t think I would like the Sloan bag, but I ended up loving them. I ordered a large Black, and 3 smalls: Aruba, Bone, Cobalt. The small is my favorite, as it looks great as a crossbody. I don’t carry much, and it surprisingly fits a lot.

Saw this bag at the outlet and loved it but it was exponentially more expensive buying it in person than ordering online (even with shipping). The outlet employees were not very in-tune with what was happening in their store and couldn’t answer questions with any modicum of knowledge. It was frustrating and I left without making a purchase of anything but a very inexpensive bag charm. It was weird that a customer with a standard PLG crossbody bag was mostly ignored and talked down to by those who didn’t think I was important enough. Oh honey, this bag has been around longer than you have known about the company and that is why the patina is so beautiful. I am sad that the company is losing site of what made them such a great bag. Remember the Etsy days? I sure do. Curtis needs to find that company again.
