Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

Almost Perfect items can feature more prominent character marks than our Premium line, and/or small stitching variations, showcasing the aesthetic variety of our natural hides and handmade designs.
Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

Great little backpack

I got the mini snap backpack in Naples and it is the cutest, cheery bag! I love the feel of it and the size. I may just have to get another in a different color.
Snap Mini Cold Brew

I was looking for a small back pack and finally chose this in cold brew. The color is indeed beautiful. I bought this using my points from Treet and put the rest on my card. When I opened the box, i was a bit disappointed. I heard that AP and even premium leather could have uneven pebbling so that is forgivable. The leather was also thin in some parts of the bag. What I didn’t like most was the way the and leather patch was sewn over the back straps. If they had sewn them straight with even measurements I would have been ok with it. But the measurements are off by a few centimeters when I measured it. I know it is only a few cms and nobody sees the back portion of the bag except me but it bothers me. In all honesty, this looks like a C-grade to me. If I hadn’t bought this with my points, I am wondering if I had gotten a something with better quality. If I return this I know my points would be forfeited. So i’m stuck with a bag i don’t really love 😔

Bought this backpack in three colors knowing they'd go fast. Naples, Tulip and Coral. The coral is my favorite, a bright fun orange color. It's also nice to see Tulip again in a full size bag, not just littles. A classic!

I grabbed the mini snap backpack in Naples and it is amazing! My favorite color is yellow and this yellow is so vivid and beautiful. The pebbling on my bag is gorgeous, and I was pleasantly surprised with the size - larger than I expected! You can fit more in the bag than you might think, and having the pocket inside is very useful. This adds such a fun pop of color to my outfits and is a very practical choice for a mom on the go. Definitely recommend!
