Amelie Shoulder Bag

I love everything about my new Amelie bag! The luscious plum color, the size, the shape, the gorgeous leather, and the magnetic closure. Its all so perfect.

I absolutely love the Amelie bag for date night! The bag is classy yet versatile and easily holds all the date night essentials - keys, wallet, sunglasses, lipgloss, etc.! I also love the magnetic closure!

I love this bag! Gorgeous color and perfect size. Without being g over stuffed I fit my wallet phone sunglasses keys and any extras I need with room to spare!!!

What a sophisticated beauty! Amelie has a lovely, classic shape with a perfect drop length. When I saw her in the Seattle store, I was drawn to Amelie in Night Owl. The pebbling is perfectly delicate. She holds a small wallet, personal items, keys, phone, checkbook, and two glasses cases. The double magnet closure is secure. She is adorable with her Seattle whale.

This bag is the perfect size and dimension. It looks petite and small so it can be dressy, but it actually holds a ton—it just has no extra height. And the extra width means I can lay flat my wallet, sunglasses, emergency pouch, tissues, and mints, and still have room in the side for a fully stuffed taco. The magnets mean getting in and out is super easy one handed, and yet if it falls over, nothing spills. Sunflower is really beautiful and glowy. I really like how structured it is, and think it looks best in smooth leathers.

Such a fun shimmery green color and I have the Amelie which is the cutest new release!!

I have about 8 PLG bags, all different styles, and Amelie is a stunner! The handle drop is perfect to use or as a shoulder, elbow or hand carry. I purchased it in Night Owl, and that dreamy dark blue is perfection.

I like smaller bags, and the Amelie carries more than it looks like it would. I was unsure of the magnet closure, but so far it seems very secure. The straps are a great length, and the rolled construction and small width help to keep them in place on your shoulder. The silhouette is very sophisticated and leans formal, especially in a firm leather. Dragon Bone is lovely! The PLG pictures (and my photo) do the color a horrible injustice! It is not the flat white/cream the product photos suggest. It is not painted and opaque; it's a silky brushed natural colored leather, that showcases the character marks, and striations in the leather. The color is a very pale cool tone tan with a sort of smoky variation. It's hard to describe, but the vibe is definitely Rustic Luxe..... refined in a very natural way, naturally beautiful not fake, over-done, or trying to hard. I usually gravitate towards darker colors, but I'm so glad I stepped outside my usual groove. I chose this color because it was different than the bags I usually carry ....I was unprepared by how beautiful and incredibly silky soft this bag turned out to be.

This bag is so cute and brings me back to the ‘90’s! Is definitely big enough to fit what I need to carry and the straps don’t slip off my shoulder. I bought Supernova and she looked beautiful as a wedding guest carry but can also be dressed down. Outfit elevation- complete!

Let me start by saying that I am usually a Crossbody gal, and I typically do not carry small, cute purses, lol. But my Supernova Amelie is by far one of my top five favorite purses/bags from PLG! She shimmers! And she actually carries a lot more than you might think if you only view her from the outside or from afar. I can fit my wallet, my sunglasses in the squeeze case, a lady bug plus, plus a supernova Square pouch! Plus a few more things if I really want to stuff her full. I can’t say enough about how stunning she is! But don’t take my word for it, check her out in her recent photo shoot!

I love my Amelie Shoulder Bag. I almost bought the coach crescent bag because the shape and softness seemed perfect for everyday use -- however, the zipper closure of the bag was a dealbreaker for me -- it was too hard to get in and out of practically. I pivoted to the Amelie Shoulder Bag and I'm so glad I did! Not only does it not look like a croissant, but the softness of the leather is the perfect amount of structure to hold my stuff without swallowing my items, and softness to disappear under my arm. The magnetic closure provides easy in-and-out access that help for my casual reaches while walking around in the city. The only thing I would suggest for improvement perhaps is the width of the straps, so it stays on my shoulder with less re-adjusting when wearing bulkier clothing, like winter coats (I am from the East Coast). However I do like the length of the straps because they accomodate this same issue. The Cold Brew color of this bag is rich and goes with everything and the natural elegance in its simplicity is eye-catching. For the price point, this is a high-quality bag. Love it!!
