Our durable leather goods are unlined, featuring the natural suede side of the hide. Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade, making each piece uniquely yours.
Our leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Full Grain: Meticulously sourced from the finest hides, this premium material boasts unique textures and character, showcasing nature's artistry at its best. As time passes, watch as its surface develops a unique patina, telling your personal journey through the years. Unlike processed leathers, full grain leather stands the test of time, due to its unmatched strength and resilience. Its dense fibers offer exceptional resistance to wear, cuts, and moisture, our full grain leather ensures lasting beauty that only gets better with age.
Top Grain: Top-grain starts from the same premium zone of the hide but is lightly sanded and finished for a more uniform surface. That light correction softens and evens the face while keeping most of the strength you want. Takes pigment and protective finishes beautifully, which helps with colorfastness and stain resistance. Ages gracefully, especially when we keep the finish thin enough to let the leather breathe and break in.
We use top-grain when a smoother cosmetic is the goal—think color consistency across large panels—without walking away from the core strength you expect from a Portland bag.
Pebbled: Unlike most brands that use artificial stamping methods to create patterns, our pebbled leather is achieved through a natural tumbling process. The distinctive raised, pebble-shaped texture adds sophistication and makes a bold statement wherever you go. But it's not just about looks—pebbled leather is built to last. Worried about daily wear and tear? Don’t be! The unique pebbled surface ages gracefully, developing a natural patina that will evolve for years to come!
Suede: Our suede leather begins with an intricate process: the hide is split to separate the soft underside from the top layer. This top layer is then tanned, buffed, sanded, and dyed to create the signature velvety texture that defines high-quality suede. Naturally slouchy and pliable, suede leather ages gracefully, developing a rich patina that tells its own story over time. Most natural imperfections are gently smoothed away during production, while subtle traces—like healed veining and the soft, napped surface—are preserved to celebrate the leather’s unique character and charm.
Because leather is a natural material, slight color and batch variations are normal. Factors like hide age, season, and dye absorption can all affect the final shade—making each piece uniquely yours.

Beautiful reef glass case
by: Tai D.
My second eyeglass case. I wanted some color other than sunflower and I ordered immediately when it was available. The leather is lovely and smelled great. Very happy with it.
Protective and pretty!
by: Leslie (.
The sunnies case is great for protecting sunglasses and/or reading glasses! I have several of each, so I can store different glasses in different color cases and keep them straight. Great for keeping myself organized, and fun to look at, thanks PLG!
Elegant and practical sunglasses case
by: Drea M.
I love the soft feel of Storm leather! It's perfect for a sunglasses case. At first the snap closure was a little difficult to close but after using it a while it's now very easy and secure. There is a solid bridge piece inside the case so your glasses don't get squished. It's a well made design.
Almost love the sunglasses case
by: Holly R.
I almost love my English Tan sunglasses case. The color is beautiful. The only thing I’m having trouble with is snapping it closed. Even though there’s a nose guard inside that you kind of press against when trying to snap it closed, it’s not enough support to comfortably snap it closed. I think a nice strong magnetic closure would be perfect instead of this snap. I use this case, but I just never snap it closed for fear of accidentally smashing and breaking my sunglasses inside. Different sunglasses may not pose this issue, but mine have a thin arm and are pretty delicate overall.
Nice case for sunglasses
by: Mindi H.
This is a nice little case for your sunglasses or regular glasses to protect them from scratches. I got three colors (harbor, Berry good and bone) and may need to keep all three!
Perfect Fit!
by: Brandy F.
I wear medium to wide glasses and sunglasses. This case holds both perfectly. The nose piece is extra support and the color Harbor is gorgeous!
Lovely and Sturdy
by: Verdell W.
Protects my prescription sunglasses nicely and I love the smooth leather, it feels substantial and sturdy. It also fits well inside the inside pocket of my bag.
Perfect
by: Melissa
It took me some time to finally buy these and I don’t regret it! I’ve gone on a few trips and wished I had this sunglass case. This mint color is perfect. It has now become my goal to purchase something in every variation of mint and turquoise. An added bonus is the nose support made of a firm brown leather!
New home for my favorite sunglasses!
by: Nancy H.
Really soft leather perfect for safely storing my favorite sunglasses . Bought multiple colors to hold my sunglasses or reading glasses! This compliments my MB tote perfectly!
Sunglass Sass
by: Stacy
I bought one of these to start with, because I wasn’t sure on how accommodating they would be for my larger framed sunnies for when I’m feeling a little more sassy. I’m so happy to report they are roomy enough to hold all of the sassiness I’ve got! So, another case I will be getting!
Pretty color!
by: Faye D.
I wanted a colorful sunglasses case, not brown or black.... the boysenberry is a rich gorgeous color!!!!Thank you PLG!
Substantial
by: Liz D.
Bought this handsome case for my husband who always damages his glasses wearing them on his shirt, but I want to keep it for myself. It is a nice structured case in canyon with lots of character. Fits our largest sunglasses and has plenty of depth to it. I appreciate the hard piece at the bridge that keeps shades from being crushed by other things in your bag or just closing the snap.

Great quality
Amazing quality!!! The leather is perfect. So glad I added this piece to my PLG collection!
love how it protects my glasses well - good design and structure
This is a great little case that gives just enough structure while still being soft and pliable. I also like that it includes a little bridge on the inside for the glasses to rest on!
This sunglass case is amazing
