Why do you use leather with prominent character marks in the first place?
We only qualify Almost Perfect in terms of cosmetic irregularities that have absolutely no impact on the quality or durability of our products. Rather, we figured that it'd be a shame to waste such beautiful and functional leather, so we decided to sell it at a discounted price.
What type of imperfection will I get with this bag?
Each of our Almost Perfect bags is one of a kind! While we can't say for sure which one you'll receive, some common character marks our customers find are pebbling and color variation, scars and striations, or a stitch out of place. That being said, rest assured that none of these "imperfections" will impact the functionality of the bag in any way!

I absolutely love my AP Dakota Basic Belt Bag! I have to admit that I am a little late to the belt bag party... I'm not a fanny pack kind of girl, and so I never really considered getting a belt bag. I love the look of this bag, however, so I bought it with the thought that I could wear it as a crossbody. Y,all, I've gotten so many compliments on the simplicity and elegance of it! This basic belt bag is beautifully designed. It’s slim and has a clean uncluttered appearance. I use it as a “satellite” for my work backpack. It’s just the right size to hold my iPhone, my mini envelope wallet (drivers license & debit card) and lipstick. I wear is crossbody so it’s easy to access. The magnetic closure feels very secure. It’s never come unlatched. I’ve wanted a Tulip bag for a long time, so I jumped at this as soon as it was available. It’s an AP bag and I don’t see any imperfection. It’s perfect!

I’ve been eyeing this bag for months. Finally decided to make the purchase. While I love the color, and the style of the bag, it sadly doesn’t “wear” quite right on me. I’m very petite (4’10”). So the bag feels huge slung across my body and worn around my waist.

I haven't had this bag for long, but I've already used it twice for afternoon shopping/market trips! I like it because it fits close to your body if you're in a small shop (so you don't knock anything off the shelf with your purse) or in crowded places. I carried my lovebug plus wallet, my larger phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max), and sunglasses and it all fit perfectly. Not an everyday purse for me, but definitely a great option for an afternoon/evening out!

This was even cuter in person! I ordered the basic belt bag in honey and it's a little darker and richer in color than pictured. Holds a surprising amount as well! I fit my kindle, tiny wallet, keys, chapstick, and phone inside and the magnet still connected! I wear it crossbody and I think it's going to be excellent for hiking but I'm also excited to use it as a clutch at my next fancy event.
