The Leather
Our U.S.-sourced oil tanned leather is incredibly easy to care for. With time and use, the natural oils in the leather will rise to the surface, developing a beautiful patina and smoothing any scuffs or scratches that may have accumulated. Learn more about caring for your new leather product.
Our full-grain leather is the strongest and most durable available, and the unique texture and natural imperfections from the cow’s life have not been sanded, cut or shaved off. Full-grain is SIX times stronger than Buffed, Upholstery or Genuine leather.
Please note that our pebbled leather, like all of our leather, is a natural product. You may notice changes in grain or texture throughout your bag. Other companies artificially press a pebble texture into their leather. However, the pebbling of our leather is achieved naturally through an extra tumbling process which leaves some areas of the hide smoother than others.

I love my small bucket bag in Sage! After almost a full year, it's been my go to bag when I don't need to carry a lot. I am a fiber artist and it actually fits a decent size skein of yarn with a small project in it. I tend to always have something with me to keep my hands busy so this is great and I don't need a huge bag (it tends to hurt my shoulders)! I really like the shade of green and I hope that PLG comes out with even more green shades in the future. I definitely couldn't tell what the flaw was in the "AP" part of the bag and I still can't. Wonderful bag!
Gorgeous and rich plum color purchased in Large. I see zero imperfections! My only slight issue is it's weight. A bit heavy compared to all my other PL style bags. I believe it's simply due to the design of the bucket bag. But I love it and wear it proudly!
Lovely surprise when I opened my box. The color plum is amazing. I got the almost perfect large bucket purse. I was worried but I couldn't see anything wrong. It's just perfect to me. I love the smell of rich leather. I am very happy with my purchase.
I gravitate toward the small bags. The small bucket bag is so perfect I want another color. The pebbled black is soft and I would imagine will hide any blemishes I add to it. The only thing I miss is a grab handle, but I intend to add that myself.
Gah. I am so smitten with Lava. So what better to satisfy my leather craving (temporarily) than a lava bucket????
She is a beauty. I love the variation of colors in the leather and the pull up is phenomenal. The tinge of red in the brown is stunning.
This bag (the large) is roomy and easy to open. It also stays closed when cinched too so I don’t worry about things falling out. It sits comfortably as a crossbody.
I am so happy with this addition to my PLG collection!!
